12:05pm: A new Test, another session dominated by India. West Indies have been good in patches, but when India's batters were proactive, they chugged along with ease. Both Rohit and Jaiswal were eager to punish bad balls. and collected 14 fours and three sixes among themselves. Jaiswal's going at a strike rate of almost 93.

12:05 Local Time, 16:05 GMT, 21:35 IST: Total domination from India after being put in. West Indies with a session they would like to forget in a hurry. Apart from that Athanaze drop, there was nothing they created in that session. The pitch was slow and the bowling lacked penetration and discipline as a group. Jaiswal and Rohit looked like they were playing in second gear almost. When it was dug into the pitch in an attempt to get it to rise, the ball barely rose above the waist and Jaiswal and Rohit enjoyed playing the pull. Warrican was decent but apart from one ball which turned and beat the outside-edge, did not look threatening at all. One of the easiest sessions of Test match cricket that Jaiswal and Rohit will encounter. Already the ploy to bowl first looks like it has backfired badly and we are just one session into the match. Expect more of the same after lunch. Back for it in 35 minutes...

12:05pm: A new Test, another session dominated by India. Brathwaite's decision to bowl first after winning the toss not looking great. West Indies have been good in patches, but when India's batters were proactive, they chugged along with ease. Both Rohit and Jaiswal were eager to punish bad balls. and collected 14 fours and three sixes among themselves. Jaiswal's going at a strike rate of almost 93. Holder should have had him two balls before lunch but Athanaze dropping the catch meant India scooted through the session at a run rate of 4.65, without loss.

Bhuvan Shom: "Has Jaiswal sped up? He was almost half of Rohit and now he's caught up almost." Yeah, he flashed at a few. Check out the fours in his wagon wheel, he's peppered the area square behind point.

Goutam: "Such contrast between this match and the ashes right now. Test cricket being well and truly both dead and alive at the same time"

26.5 Gabriel to Rohit, FOUR, nicely played! Short of a good length delivery
