I just watched the Interview of Nadeem Baig and Ahmed. I found their explanation not good enough.

They lacked in execution and the 2% commission was never mentioned when Aliya got the money but she did mention that Asfar did a great favour to her buy sanctioning her loan . So why won't people assume the money she got was loaned by Asfar.

Also they could not give satisfying reply to why Aliya and Asfar had to have a romantic angle to show that Aliya is the neutral person in sehrish and asfar's tiff.

Sehrish could have gone with cake and all and take Aliya along with her too

They didn't talk much about asfar in general. I guess even Rabia wasn't interested in asfar. She just wanted to know about salman and Aaliya and samiya 😆. I think Nadeem knows he screwed up big time with asfar and it's also felt like Ahmad sir and Nadeem had creative difference in between and Ahmad sir told how he learned to make audience crave for it till the last episode through nadee. The only track that was unnecessarily dragged till the last episode was asfar and the love triangle. So I do think the overdose of asfar is nadeem baig's doing. Ahmad sir might have wanted to end asfar's track a couple of episodes ago like he closed Tanya's and shagufta's before the last episode itself.

2% commision thing they also agreed they might have faulted in the execution and they could have been more clear with it. They agreed they needed to be more clear about some of the stuff.

Nadeem kept saying Aaliya went to her colleague's house which is wrong. She went to her boss's house late at night and altered things at his house without his permission. Even if a man does it for his boss that will be considered boot licking and trying too hard to stay in the good books of the boss. Aaliya having the agency to do what she wants without being questioned is a good thing but doing that on a professional environment to her boss is a big NO. The only reason I didn't mind that track was because they made her realise she was wrong in the drama itself. They could have told they did it to spread awareness that something like shouldn't be done which is what they showed.

They really didn't talk much about asfar-aaliya dynamo for which they got the biggest backlash.

Rabia could have asked more about Aaliya's professionalism but she talked about this towards the very end and they didn't had time to elaborate.

He was applying for immigration and not visiting visa. So he was planning on staying there for a while and getting a job i guess. Working outside and coming back will make his resume look better.

That was such a cute scene with samiya kissing Aaliya and everyone congratulating the young couple for making it official 😔. All the important characters were in the frame and it would have been the perfect ending to the drama and not asgar standing alone at his house.

I don't know why that one moment of Asfar in the end has such a huge impact lol

It's not about the impact it's about how the makers cannot give a proper salman and Aaliya scene without forcefully inserting him into everything. Even in their last and only scene in the finale they had to show flashback of asfar instead of letting salman and Aaliya talk 🤢

He was very much a parallel lead of the show which worked wonders for the show

No one can deny that everyone started watching the show after asfar came into the picture

Why is that few seconds of him is blamed

I don't mind people demanding a family reunion scene in the end or asking for a Salman Aliya scene in the end

But that doesn't have to come at the cost of asfars last few moments

Is this insecurity or jealousy of Salman Aliya fans that even after getting a happy ending ....that also with a song they r not happy

Given in pak shows happy endings are even worse with just an eye lock and hand holding after 30+ epis of torture

Here that whole song was a family reunion sequence and a proper ending

But still people can't just get satisfied or happy for once

@bold there is no significant increase in YouTube views after asfar's entry. The drama had 3-4m views on an average before and after asfar's entry. He entered at a time when we all thought now Aaliya and Salman will take the center stage like in teasers and posters. But they got sidelined even more. The drama started getting noticed during samiya's wedding episode itself and Salman and Aaliya scenes were always popular on the internet with him throwing flowers at her having millions of views. If Asfar such an important part to the story why wasn't he promoted when the drama started? The entire drama is promoted on bilal and sajal's name and kashf foundation and Ahmad sir's writing and Nadeem baig's direction. They didn't even have a proper photoshoot of the three.

The biasness towards asfar's character is very visible. I was among the people who was excited for the love triangle when it started and even defended his character when he got more screentime at the first 2-3 episodes when he started being prominent but his character growth was done at the expense of compromising salman and Aaliya as characters.

In the iv nadeem and Ahmad sir told Ahmad sir don't like to spoonfed the audience and show anything in repeat and it was true for every single character in the show apart from asfar whose every single thing was spoonfed to us. We get multiple scenes of him thinking whether he should do and watch his father, we got flashbacks (which none of the other characters got) of him thinking about Aaliya twice, when all other confrontations are ended with a single scene we get 2-3 scenes of asfar and his father reconciling and talking it out.

We had to figure out on our own what Aaliya and Salman are thinking but we don't have to do that with asfar. Aaliya and Salman talks in puzzles even in their monologues. Has been fighting for 10+ episodes and going in round and round and even in the end scene asfar was forcefully inserted.

Aaliya's entire professional life was sabotaged to move forward Asfar's story, salman was put on standby for that and so was salman and aaliya's screentime. Every single scene of Aaliya and asgar from the bday episode were forced and didn't make any sense for Aaliya as a character and didn't go with the flaw of the rest of the drama.

A love triangle is good when all the angles in the story are given equal footage and not when one or two of the 3 characters are put on hold to glorify the 3rd angle. Here Aaliya and Salman looked like supporting characters in asfar's dukh bari daastan.
