I think we’re overthinking. Abhir might be home and Akshara came to confront Abhimanyu that late because she knows he comes home from work around that time or if she was expecting Abhimanyu to bring Abhir despite his mother’s objections (since he apologized for his mom’s actions today) and when he doesn’t she comes to confront him.

We know Abhir might run way some day but I don’t think it’ll happen so soon. When he does run away, it might be for two reason: 1) He finds out his parents lied about the finances but for that he has to be with them because no one in BH knows about it. 2) He finds out why his parents separated.

If Abhir had run away ( supposed) they can't locate him means AK can file " Habious corpus " , It is a serious issue court will instruct poice to sears and find the person as soon as possible
