is it because she is a working woman and supports her family?

Even I don't know. Aaliyah's character was flawed and grey and I have no problem with it because every human being is. But these dialogues puts me off because they ends up glorifying such flaws. The best way to show a flawed character is to make every other character and viewers aware that those certain qualities are actually flaws and needs to be fixed.

They could have shown Asfar and Salman talking about Aaliyah like she is a flawed human being but still precious to them. She is isn't the best human but still best for them. This could have been more realistic. I appreciate my sisters in the same manner 😆

Nice ending but IMO, Asfar intercuts weren't necessary to be inserted. Could've just focused on family moments.

I know everyone liked Dildara part but I found it lacking somewhere. The scenes looked disjointed to me. Aliya and Salman deserved one scene away from the corner but I am ok with the ring scene.

Its just I am a bit salty that Asfar had to become the bridge between Aliya and Salman. I would have loved if Aliya rejected him politely rather than being so contrite when he released her

Aaliya came to reject him only. So it was fine. She didn't want to be rude to a guy who was nice to her and whose father is still recovering. She told she didn't take time because she don't know how to speak up, she did because she never thought about any of that.

Aafar didn't act as a bridge. Salman and Aaliya were anyway sure about their love for each other and Salman was going to propose to her on his own.

I think Zgh and ejls are the most rewatched pak dramas for me. I don't even remember how many times I have rewatched zgh since 2012.

KA might join the list since it's similar to ejls.

If a S2 occurs, I don't mind a platonic friendship of Asfar and Alia and her continuing to work for him or Sehrish. Dildara part did feel somewhat lacking for sure and I felt Asfar intercuts were unnecessary.

I did like the train scene of Thanvi-Phupho than the actual nikah scene for some reason.

The drama even had time to show a 2-3 mins saaliya scene.
