Neil got hurt because he is in love with Yuvi since Hrishikesh and like he told to Vidur, he got bitter when he got to know about her being Mahajan. But love stayed and it got rejuvenated when he saw her in Delhi. Like i said in starting epis of Neil that him helping her everytime isn't coincidence.
