I can agree with everything you wrote before these two closing lines, atominis.

The bold things are simply an insult...and I wonder why exactly you think so.

Only because SRK openly admits to fulfil wishes of the audience because the audience gives him the position he enjoys, doesn't demean his work as an actor and doesn't reflect a poor niveau of the audience.

Also he has done a lot of movie-characters that don't put romance in the foreground but the love/respect for the woman (with latter being more important than the romancing)... and this is one of the reasons so many women relate to the characters (and SRK).

Also he has something innocent, childlike that shines through many of the characters he enacted...and this is one of the reasons that already tiny kids get connected to him (in my family the kids from a 3 year old boy to a 12 year old girl).

Also he likes to do action...and gosh! he is good at that...he has a body that moves well and he isn't shy to visibly get beaten up, not always being/looking like a winner...and this is relatable to men, too...he may win in the end but he has a hard time for that...he is macho without being macho.

I could enumerate a lot of scenes in many movies where SRK's acting is superb (but I suppose, this won't change your opinion).

Of course it is a matter of liking - disliking...you're not Justicia who puts good deeds and bad deeds into a balance...you don't have even an idea which things written in connection with him are true except those SRK admitted himself or those you have seen (on TV or in videos)...and those aren't "skeletons in his closet" but open knowledge.

He himself never stated that he gave his home to Irrfan, e.g. ... and what is the Arindam controversy other than the reproaches against SRK for other endorsements he did and - morally - shouldn't have done...

Was he ever accused of a crime? ...well, okay, they try again now with Mr. Wankhede and the cruize case.

Think about him as negative as you can...I do the contrary 😉(and no hard feelings...at least not from my side 😊)

Salman has easily been the most handsome star after Dharmendra.

And technically only him, Dharam ji and Hrithik can be called most handsome stars of Indian cinema and have consistently been admired for their looks, compared to any other male actor or model.

A good looking male is an exception in Indian showbiz. It is so rare that ones who do have almost perfect or symmetrical features or blend of manliness and innocence or swagger, style are considered something exceptional and deadly combo which makes up for lack in any other departments such as dancing (in case of Dharam) or acting etc.

Salman is nowhere close to hrithik as far as looks are concerned.

and then, actually, for those who love/like him he may still be the most handsome Hindi actor...and rightly so...because it is always a matter of personal feeling/perception and not even something to discuss...
