Not you two talking about who knows what 😭 I'm talking about bananas when you think they're ripe and in their prime and ready to eat but you peel it and it's crunchy sounding. I can't explain the sound. It's like you peel and it's like zzzhhhhh and you realize it's not as ripe as you thought.

I actually think it's worse when you think a banana is not ripe but it turns out to be all mush.

Had to reread it twice to make sure it didn't come across as an euphemism

Yes. It’s like when you’re bent on your knees tryna ripen it for what feels like an eternity but it just won’t and your mind starts wandering. I get it

I've never seen a banana that was ripe on the outside but mushy on the inside. May the universe never let me see something like that. I have seen avocados though where they pretend they're perfect for you to eat now and it's all rotten. Like SORRY? Do you know how much I paid? Rotten in THIS economy?
