Lol, I could care less about Alia endgame lol because the interest in her story waned down quite long ago & I just felt a lot more critical of her story with each passing episode.

Other stories got some kinda closure whereas Asfar was still lingering around. Better to have focused on Thanvi-Phupho than give her 25 minutes of screen footage in a 40 minute episode.

Asfar has all the scenes the ML would have. It's actually unfair to salman who is the actual ML. Even the scene where asfars dad talks about going to aaliya's house- it felt like a happy, family moment of the ML. Salman & his mom just seem frustrated, which is justified but not what you expect from the ML in the second last episode. Asfar's proposal- and the way he talks- the way he knows aaliya screams ML. Whatever they wrote in the script, it didn't end up the way they planned on screen. My guess is they didn't expect shehryar to do so well as asfar. The ending is gonna be her choosing salman, but they've ruined salman in the process.

Also, they need to clarify how aaliya got that much money. She tells saamiya she got it bc of asfar- she tells salman she got it bc of her work. Neither is enough to justify her suddenly getting about 1 crore rupees.

Also did not like salman's tone with aaliya- he's frustrated yes, but implying that it's just about money was awful of him. Because he's also implying to aaliya that she's a gold digger. I expected better of him.

It's not that shehryar did better on his own..he clearly isn't that strong of an actor to make a character better on his own. There is clear favorism in the way asfar is portrayed. There is no equal ground when salman don't even get enough screen time or a proper bg story to say shehryar did a better job. It's like an uneven marathon where salman has to run 200ms extra to win whereas asfar started near the finishing point. Aaliya is made into a confusing character to make sure he isn't in the wrong, Salman is not giving enough screentime for us to understand him better. Out of the three he definitely got the better end of the stick. Then the way Aaliya and asfar scenes are shot with a lot more romantic flavour than salman and Aaliya who does nothing more than argue. I still don't get why Aaliya's hair was blowing inside an AC cabin and she was acting all meek and coy in that entire scene. Then why she was screaming at her boss in front of the rest of the employees. The amount of dovey eyes Aaliya make for Asfar is totally out of character esp when it's followed by a weird and confused expression.

Coming to today's episode, Alia and her confusion crap subsist as Asfar directly proposed to her and she just left Salman on a cliff hanger as usual.

Shafgufta's father left for old age home. But later scene had her bring him back home lol. Nice conversation about Shafgufta pursuing her acting dream and not being impulsive or closing the option to marriage.

Saif and his mother scene was nice. Saif questioning about his mother allowing him to ponder was quite nicely executed. Saif's mother has changed for good. Nice one.

Shakeel-Tania scene was nice one. Even Agha-sofia bantering and conversation was nice. Family scene with girls hugging their aunt was cute and poor Shakeel trying to find space to hug Sofia lol. 😂

Sofia-Thanvi scene was funny and cute hahaa. Nice to see Thanvi showing that he'll support Sofia as always and Sofia does seem touched but didn't say it or show her reaction in front of him.

Though Salman was wrong to right away assume the reason for the proposal, I guess I won't blame him because writers have weaved Alia's character in such as such that so much favor on Asfar was due to money and all and she was always in confusion/denial/delusion or whatever one wants to call her but basically her character has gone super south tbh.

Salman was basically audience voice when he called Alia out over her behavior for the past 10+ episodes. 🤪

Precap looked like some movie trailer than a normal episode. I'd rather watch family moments than Asfar as a crusader or Alia's dilemma. Like seriously? "Love story has wars?" Lmao.

Still catching up with the show. I’ve been so busy with work lately. I have to start watching from Episode 16 or 17.

Haven’t seen much talks about it lately. The second last episode aired yesterday. How is the show going?

I am not a violent person in general but I just could not help feeling like that. Sajal as Aliya has successfully made me violent. Dont know why Salman is so patient with her
