If Abhimanyu wanted to “snatch” Abhir, he wouldn’t have waited for the custody verdict, he would’ve played some dirty game with the lawyer and judge. I don’t even think he would have gone down the custody path, he would have just coerced Abhir to move in with him.

Abhimanyu repeatedly told everyone that all he wanted was to be a part of his son’s life. He wanted to make a place for himself. He never said that he wants to take away him from his parents. He always thought of himself as ONE of Abhir’s fathers. Abhinav is the one who always differentiated.

The reason Abhimayu agreed to move on with the case was because court will decide on the verdict which benefits the child. He himself was prepared to lose as he thought that the court would always side with the mother. He was ready to never having to reveal the truth to Abhir. The JUDGE is the one who granted sole custody to Abhimanyu. After the custody was granted to him, why would he back down? If he backs down, what sort of a father would he be? Even now, he isn’t trying to cut off Akshara and Abhinav. If Akshara won the case, she wouldn’t have thought twice before kicking Abhimanyu out of Abhir’s life.

From the day he got Abhir’s truth he always said after surgery tume udaipur chod ke kabhi nahi jane dunga! Even when kv sent legal notices and Ak went to talk to him he said the same thing, when he came to kasuali his intention was to take the kid away from his parents!So by saying all this he only meant to snatch the kid from his parents !

If Abhinav is insecure like Manyu he would have never allowed him to stay in their house! Only after staying with Sharma’s he noticed how happy they r together and he started to change , seeing the changes even Ak is ready for co parenting and reveal the truth! He could have stopped the custody drama if he really don’t want to hurt Abhir but nahi Ma ne bola ladna hai Haq keliye tho he didn’t even try any other way! What happened to the soul connection which only comes once in a blue moon ?

Today he proudly announcing ‘dida ne Abhir per kabjha karliya’ wow! And then he shows fake concern for Akshnav!

I don’t know if you watched the show from the beginning or not but Manjiri never badmouthed Harsh in front of Abhi. She always tried explaining to Abhi that Harsh is his father and he should respect him. Abhi himself saw his parents fight and he mentioned that he saw Harsh hitting his mother. Even during the show, Abhi had to stop Harsh from smacking Manjiri. Abhi grew up watching his dad abuse his mother, that’s why he hates his father.

Also, Abhi did go to Goenkas house to find out Akshara’s whereabouts. Manish then called him and told him where she is staying and that Akshara doesn’t want to come back, she has also realized their relationship will never work.
By the way, I am not defending Abhi for white day, what he did was cruel. I am telling you the scenes that were shown.

Greed of getting the sole custody of the child!!! If she feared and prepared for this day from last 6 years, she should have definitely known that this was not possible given that she hid the truth of Abhir's existence from his father.

Also, there is no need to disclose the entire truth to the child. She could have told that they fought and abhi divorced her. She could have put the blame on abhi, but told the truth!!! But, she at no cost wanted abhi in abhir's life!!!

All her lies led to this day, that she can meet her son only in weekends that too with Abhi's consent!!!

Please let's not discuss about WD and Umarkaid, it's a genuine request as it's been discussed umpteen times and we cannot come into agreement regarding that.
