Kangana does not have a screen presence for every role, as her afro hair won't allow it. In straight hair she has no presence.

Her vocal delivery is really annoying and it sounds like she's going to breakdown, nervously. Hence horror films suited her.

Alia,

I spend most of the movie time looking for the tiny actress on my screen. Once I find her.. it's a roulette situation. If I land on the green she's doing pretty good in the movie, if I land on the red.. I need not explain.

Roulette situation - kuch samajh mein nahi aaya, but sunke accha laga. Something related to casino. Googled but Google uncle was unable to explain too

I agree about Kangana. That's why I said she was better during her sane days and has a decent screen presence even now. But her shenanigans are hard to ignore and that restricts her presence. Nowadays I can't differentiate Kangana from her character onscreen.

Just meaning it's a hit and miss with her acting. It depends on what movie I stumble on.

So Alia dint act well in Raazi, Highway, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi, Gully Boy, Darlingsss?😲 how much ever curation KJo does for Alia, if audience wouldnt like her..she would have been another Esha Deol..this unnecessary hate for Alia on the forum is just so hilarious sometimes..

Alia is shrewd and she has strong backing. She's fortunate enough to achieve her ambitions. I would call her over ambitious if anything was impossible for her. KJo brings the world at her footsteps. That doesn't mean I doubt her acting skills.

Kangana was fabulous during her "Bhatt" film days aswell. Fashion was iconic and I would says she dominated PC at few instances despite PC's wonderful screen presence. I mean Kangana is definitely not a Madhuri or Ash but she is really good with nuances. She was fantastic as Rani and Tanu.

I hope she comes out of right wing driven insanity as it is affecting her films. She looks promising as Indira Gandhi only if the film is not a cheap glory feast with cringe pseudofeminism.

Kangana is a treat to watch onscreen, if we don’t let her offscreen persona clog our judgment. She is perfection personified, especially in her earlier outings when she didn’t have a lot of control on the creative decisions made on the sets. Later on she started interfering in the movie making and controlling the screen time of her co actors there by hampering the screenplay . Hope she learned her lessons and Emergency is going to be her comeback movie.🤞

Oh and Alia is Alia in her every movie, can’t say the difference between her offscreen and onscreen appearances. Her skill is in getting the author backed rolls, and there no one can beat her except may be her patidev.

If you asked me ten years ago, I would have said Kangana. But the kind of movies and performances she's delivered in the past few years do not indicate any talent. Whatever talent she had, she buried it for personal politics, agendas, and vendettas. She's been trying so hard for her Reputation era, she has a list of people in red underlined, but she cannot seem to rise up from the dead.

What even is over-ambitious?
