Well, Arjun's character gets involved with his girlfriend's family being away from his own family...and it's also about families from very different Indian regions (South and North). So, the basic situation is the same.

Although it is a family situation completely different from K3G, still the motto is the same - it's (all) about family (loving your parents), I suppose.

Finally watched the trailer. When they were shouting in the starting point it literally sounded like the roar of dinosaurs I heard in Jurrasic Park movie, looks like both hero and heroine are loud characters based on their shouting at each other. Then from next point trailer really picked up well with their banter. I loved their bantering and chemistry. Surprisingly Alia looked very beautiful in the trailer unlike in the song released. Ranveer's character looked funny and spunky.

Story definitely felt like the fusion of bommarillu, 2 states, Jodi Tamil movie but I must say overall I loved the trailer, it looked entertaining and family entertainers are totally my kind of genre.

Looks like a good commercial family entertainer with the back drop of love story of a couple from 2 different cultural backgrounds. As per my sixth sense it's going to be a huge hit as it has all the elements of a commercial movie.

My brother is going to do a love marriage soon with a girl from totally different state, totally different cultural background(she is a punjabi) , it is reminding me of their story. If possible i might watch the movie with the whole family.. lol

I just hope its not going to have the boring slap stick comedy which makes any movie boring.

The trailer was fine, kinda had a luv Ranjan feel to it. Kjo made it look like it was gonna be a romantic movie, even the song tum mile had a very 90s feel it. The trailer and the teasers before that are definitely a bit jarring.

I must add that the trailer is bit fast paced and I couldnt get who slapped whom in the end of the trailer..

People are loving Ranveer’s part and are saying he outshone everyone in the trailer. Time for Alia’s PR to get to work with double the vengeance.😆
