I don't think that here in Karan's movie, there is a kind of Romeo + Juliet trope... the families don't know each other (I suppose) and they are aware about the switching (no secretly being in the other's home).

I think, it's a quite open try to get to know a different family life that not only shaped the protagists' characters and opinions but also matters to them. And it makes also the respective families responsible to adjust (and accept) to the chosen partner so that the marriage could be in harmony and joy.

The trailer makes me expect a loooot of eye-candy (and beauty)😊 ...I feel a kind of grandeur-grandiosity and magic...

Haven’t watched the trailer yet but read a few comments here and there across the board. The common census seems to be that Ranveer stole the show. Ummm. time for the beti to cry to her papa to work things a bit around in the movie so that she can be more visible than her nose pin. 😅🤣

It's a rather known trope in movie stories (not only Indian ones)... I like this idea - be it done secretely or openly...it can show very interesting dynamics.

I think, Ranveer has the better shaped character portrait...and he delivers!

The trailer gives a better impression than teaser and song (and the too many photos)...imo.

It has similarities but to me, it didn't feel like a parody...only a variation of "2 States" (and of a subject of many similar movies).

To me, such movies are a request for more tolerance/acceptance and inclination to learn out of love and caring.
