There's no question that Priya is the third angle between Kriti and Ram. And yes, if they show Ram and Priya becoming involved, Priya will be in the wrong as well, as long as Kriti hasn't been set loose by Ram.

I do agree with what you're saying @bold, which is akin to what tournesol said, but this contract marriage nonsense is meant to say that, to start with at least, this is not a marriage but a deal. However, it becomes a bit problematic because the rituals are real.

This show is supposedly finite so now, story ko aage badhana chahiye. Kitne hafton se wahin atke hue hain. It's now at 28 episodes, and if I were to take the original articles which said that the show was agoing to be about 60-70 episodes long - we are almost half way down and I haven't seen the story go anywhere.

Ekta didn't meet that guy on the bike in time and didn't eat, so now we're in trouble)

But I still like the story, you know, such a sweet everyday life, where a couple draws closer not at the expense of not understanding where the drama is thrown from, but with communication and ordinary simple things. In life, this happens much more often than any drama, people met, started something together, walk / travel together somewhere, talk, then realize that they love and continue to live peacefully together

Story nahi hai, na, so what will they do? Fill it with enough random characters and villains to make up most of the episodes, and add NM-DP ka tarka to keep people halfway interested. They know they've got nothing, so they release the leads' bts segs, when people are fed up, which about kills any reason to watch the actual episode unless something really new is happening -- for me, at least.

I think EK has lost it and is stuck in a time warp where this kind of serial making worked.

@blue: I completely agree with you. I’m not sure why EK never tried to evolve her serial making skills and her story writers. They need to get practical. People will make fun of such stuff which probably worked back in the 90s and early 2000s.🤔

I don't understand why the cvs are practically sabotaging the show with irrelevant bakwaas. Was this mainly made to reserve the 8 pm slot for what looks like a trp show? I'm somewhat offended on the leads' behalf at balh3 being shifted to 7.30, though it makes no difference to me.

It's neither here nor there. Balh is neither a trp magnet, nor is it crafted enough that we can enjoy it without reservations. It's too much burden on the leads to carry it in the absence of a common sense construct. If there were more relatable and diverse and interesting characters, it wouldn't need NM and DP together in scenes to make it watchable. Shardul -good friend; Alekha- good friend, but potentially problematic; daddy Sood-nice, loving, but too gullible, and hates alcohol(ics); Shalini-loving but manipulative mother with a strange bee in her bonnet for a dentist she just met; Yuvraj-bad, lying moneygrubber; Kriti-wimpy villain who needs the nasty girl cousin to solve her problem; nasty girl cousin - nasty and a smartass. So the most 'nuanced' supporting characters are Shalini and Papa Sood, and they're barely defined beyond aspects are not exactly commendable and/or logical.

Perfectly said! I've been zipping through the last few episodes. Instead of a whole bunch of circus clows, a handful of well written characters would really taken S3 to another level. Papa Sood, while being a caring father is just so laissez-faire, nodding his way through everything. And Shalini is getting a bit too sweet now, but because she loooovvees Ram so much let's forget all the not-so-sweet things she does. And what's with the overdose of ''soulmate" when she's barely met Pri 5 times!!

There's nothing really worth talking or discussing about in S3..just a bunch of hastily written plots and half baked characters to fill up a time slot Maiyya didn't want to lose!

They could have just made it like a web series on TV. 10-20 episodes and finish!😕 I know there aren’t many romance web shows but there are a few that I absolutely love.❤️

In today’s times the story needs to be crisp and to the point. Yahan to shaadi ke functions hi 3 hafton tak chal rahe hain… ab ye poora hafta nikal jayega shaadi and grahpravesh mein.🤣

And ye Ram ke subtle fat shaming comments kab khatam honge? The writers have definitely toned it down but they still happen.😳

DP is pregnant and they’re banking on that by making NM have dialogues that involve body shaming? Why?👎🏼

Seriously! But for what it's worth, I'm glad they at least made a start by toning it down.

Chidiya tells me there's a new promo (came on TV) showing Ram and Priya sabotaging their marriage/ talking or planning about it The snoring wala promo inspired by S1 was just plain trickery 😡
