Naughty Mrs Sharmaa will be in very big trouble since forging a government security such as a birth certificate is a serious offence and results in a punishment of up to life imprisonment under section 467 of the Indian penal code.

I'm wondering now if this was really the real life case then what would happen..... But then again koi ladki aise bus m ni jati in that traumatic condition and meet a stranger n live with in real life.....
Well I'm getting out of the topic .....
Yeah normal people don’t separate, run away and keep their kids away like these serials.

If this did happen in real life then I feel the mother would be punished for forging on a legal document but I doubt she’d get life imprisonment due to her having a young kid.

Please clarify
I have no idea about how the law works or its sections but there are a couple of distant relatives who are legally battling in court. In both the cases men are relatives from mom's side, we don't know much about what has happened in their marital lives but there are many similarities in both the cases. Couples had issues between them right after they got married, hence separated and wives hid their pregnancies, men only knew they had a kid much later. The couples have been living separately for years now but still not legally separated as the wives denied divorce, in both the cases kid is living with mother and dads are contributing child support, major %age of their earning each month. I have observed that courts are in general empathetic and sympathetic to women with respect to marital issues and issues related with kids. There is another case that I know where the man won w.r.t. both divorce and adopted child only because he was successful in implanting false evidences that his spouse is mentally unstable.
