Can I just add, she knows tb is a badly written romance which she watches for guilty pleasure.
She doesn't defend their characters nor try to find logic in it.
I deal with her just like she was patient with me when I was watching mushkil last year 😆 I found it entertaining though it was regressive.

. Oh no, Ekta and NM can not be compared . Ekta sucks big time . She is the worst thing happened to entertainment industry . The word loyalty, fidelity is NO WHERE in her dictionary. She makes her leads fall in love, gets them married , gets them divorced, then gets them married to differing ppl …this silsila goes on and on whereas whatever NM has not done this shit . Ok fine , Murtasum agreed to marry Haya , the woman he called Zeher…it’s because he is defeated, dejected, like a dead man, on self destruction path, marrying Haya was a punishment he was giving to himself, inflicting excruciating pain on his wounds but still NM did not let that nikah to take place . She stopped it right at the crucial moment . Meerab has stayed faithful to murtusam, Murtasum has stayed faithful to Meerab …..that’s called love ….had it been Ekta , I bet she would have married both Meerab and Murtasum to different ppl by now and then would have got them back together then again divorced . I haven’t watched any Gul khan show so can’t say anything . I know about Ekta shows because my mom used to watch wherever she came to visit me and I would sit with her to give company but a time came I couldn’t do that too so stopped . For every Parizaad you need a TB , both can co exist together …both can be relished , enjoyed . Till epi 44, it was not trashy at all , it was a beautiful love story ….I still have faith …picture abhi baaki hai….climax will be great , will make up for all the nonsense .
The only thing stopping pak dramas from becoming everything you hate about ITv is it's limited episodes format. Siyani ran for 100 episodes and it was not less than any itv drama. TB with just 50+ episodes( which is like 100+ episodes in itv since each episode is only 20-21mins in itv) is nothing less than the old Gul Khan dramas. Ipkknd and all of the successful Gul Khan shows also didn't had any storyline and were massive hits with people going crazy for the leads just the way people are now crazy for yumna and wahaj. Geo and 7th sky is doing what ekta and Gul did to itv 2 decades back. All of ekta's old shows used to start really well, people used to get hooked to them and goes crazy for the leads and then degradation happens. If ekta should be called out and crucified what makes nooran or kadwani also different?
Another thing , itv actors are looked down upon, they aren’t A listers whereas ptv actors are looked up and are A listers . Less said about itv better, it’s the worst thing in entertainment industry . Infact , I am surprised to know thst ppl still watch it ( cane to know from these threads only) I was under the impression that no one watches those anymore with access to ptv, Netflix , prime etc . My mom completely stopped a few years back and watches ptv only .
