They led us to believe this was a love story but clearly, it's drama. Nothing serious has occurred between Sahiba and Angad to begin their love story. They show these starring competitions between the two gazing into each other's eyes just to get our hopes up, but there is no connection. I keep hanging on to the fact that they are destined to be together but the writers are not progressing in that direction. I thought Angad was over Seerat and I was defending his case, but here he is going to battle for Seerat in what is supposed to be a professional setting.

Seerat hugged Angad in front of the business partners which should have been more embarrassing for the Brars than Sahiba's muddy clothes entrance because it proved Mark's point that Angad is a PLAYER. But no one said anything about the hug. It amazes me what the Brars speak out on and what they say nothing about. I wish Mark had not been so drunk so he could have got 12 slaps in and at least 3 punches on Angad's face.

Angad will make 1 step only to take us 30 steps back. He is just muscles in a suit. He doesn't think before acting out. He said that Sahiba's mood changes but really it's his mood that is on a roller coaster ride. Angad misbehaved with Sahiba while drunk just as Mark did and no one went to blows for her.

Sahiba has been disrespected since the first day she stepped into the Brar mansion and the torture continues. I guess they are trying to prove that when you are uneducated AND lack fashion sense AND are middle-class that this makes you susceptible to insults, disrespect, and bullying. I guess if Sahiba received a new wardrobe, some bling, and embraced her devious side that she would be loved and adored. And when did Sahiba become unattractive? Why are the writers trying to make her the ugly sister? Seerat can't compete with Sahiba on her best day. Both are gorgeous but Sahiba is queen. She has grace and beauty with little to no effort. I recommend Sahiba meet and fall in love with a single, caring, and handsome middle-aged professor at college and free herself from the Brar brutality. I was rooting for SahAn, but my girl Sahiba is living a depressing life at age 23. College is the perfect place for her to let go of the "perfect Brar wife" identity and be the woman that she wants to be.

BTW... did you see Gary? I think he is behind some of this. I have a funny feeling that he is behind Mark's misbehavior.

You just read my thoughts... I was also rooting for Angad for sometime.. but the latest developments in the story is simply frustrating.. Does thr man have anything called conscience... After all that hes done to Sahiba.. Let's not forget the molesting sequence... He should have been put behind bars for what he did...and then burnt her shop which was her very soul... And now by "permitting her" to do something that she loves.. He thinks he's doing some favor... I was actually sympathizing with the man since a few episodes.. I had felt he was a victim of a dysfunctional and patriarchial family... And personally he doesn't have his ego hurt when a woman outwits him... But oh boy thr man knows how to gaslight his wife well... Why the PH can't afford good writers or what to come to this? How cool it wud be if they explored a track where Sahiba follows her dream... Angad standing by her... And then slowly they could explore Angads back story-the reason why he is like this.. a troubled child who falls prey to the ridiculous expectations of a dysfunctional family and the manipulations of a sly brother ... For a writer Angads character is full. Of potential.. VJ as an actor has put a lot of opportunities for the writers to explore this angle... I remember.. in the beginning there was the mysterious melancholy look in Angads eyes and I often wondered if he had a backstory and VJ even confirmed in one of his interviews... that he has a painful story... And I also remember this sequence where he gets tensed on hearing Seerats name and faints... Even in the OG, Riddhiman has asthma or something not exactly sure what it was.. because of og's Garry...And there were some beautiful moments between thr leads following that... And I was hoping they wid show that here... I mean VJ would have given a stellar performance and it wud have added some depth to Angads character... But NO.. they want to explore infedility... Why are they so obsessed with it.. Isn't it giving a bad message to the audience as well? Ughhh

They could have explored a mans and womans plight here.. And then the beautiful love story of Sahan.. Where both of them become each other's solace... Alas! I guess we are just destined to get a cringeworthy abla naaris story.
