🤣 This overacting is just headache inducing. She has one of the strongest PRs in the industry but people seem to forget that. They completely forget about her privileges ( Dinesh Vijan - Sajid Nadiadwala). If she were a nepo, she would have been thrashed like Ananya, Sara, etc.
Nadiadwala introduced her in zeropanti with girlie shroff
Since this discussion is already happening I felt free to mention here.
Religion, any religion for that matter is a means to connect to our inner self and nature..when we practice religion in its true form, it doesn't make us hate others or consider them inferior. But it definitely makes us capable of defending our own selves if others do the same with us.
For years Hindus have been fed that this is wrong with our religion, this discrimination happened, that discrimination happened.. we were taught to look down upon ourselves rather than teaching us to explore it on our own or encourage us to know more about it. So in a way I m happy that today's youth gets to know and connect to our roots.
There were certain practices that used to be followed earlier and not now. Why did people in that era implement those? Must've been practical for those times. Like in COVID we were told to stay apart, use masks, not touch other people or things..what if centuries later, someone distorts this and says we practiced untouchability? Maybe our ancestors faced similar situations and did it for hygiene reasons. We have 13 days of mourning after the departed and can go out n meet people on 14th day. What was the quarantine period? 14 days. Scientific reason maybe that people may have departed coz of illness, and since family members lived with them it's better to observe precautions.
It's very much possible that people in that era used these situations to exploit others and later it turned into a practice. But we got rid of it over time. The thing is we do course correction. We evolve and live a practical, scientific life. But instead of wrong practices we were taught to dislike and undermine our religion for ages. We should introspect.
Not being a believer, being n atheist is not the solution..being n explorer is.
My simple definition of Sanatan is ..Wo sach jo samay ko saath lekar chale. Time tested truth
No. He had joined Congress earlier.
Has he shifted to BJP now?
He was always known to be Congressi. In 80s he joined INC
The Jap version is mentioned because every kid growing in 2000s, 2010s has seen it on Cartoon Network and Pogo in Diwali and Dussehra specials.
So they are not as familiar with South films or even Sagar version as much as the cartoon version which was definitely a superior product, had really good animation and encapsulated major part of story in just 2 or 3 hours.
It is not detailed nor preachy but it is not crap or vulgar or dragging nor has bad special effects.
And it had good music, top artistes for dubbing - Amrish Puri for eg, was perfect for Ravana's voice and a narrator like Shatrughan Sinha.
And please accept it that it is only in recent years that dubbed, subtitled versions of South films are available online or South films are discussed online or there are resources or info on them.
Cartoon Network was shown across India and Japanese version is known more for a reason as it was aired in all languages be it English or Hindi or Tamil etc.
Why crib all the time when it is true that Hindi and English or globally produced content have more reach and more people are more likely to know about them?
I am aware South has made top notch mytho films and many dubbed films like one on Prahlad are from South. But their exposure is less compared to the animated version which even those people have seen who have not seen Sagar's Ramayan.
She did not even act. Overacting kahan se hui?
Waise Prabhas is also a monotone actor and only suited for action or warrior roles.
He can do Arjun or Karna type roles in Mahabharat or some king. He is unfit to play Ram.
I found Arun Govil, Gurmeet Choudhary, Nitish Bharadwaj, and the guy from Siya ke Ram serial to be better as Ram compared to this beefcake who had no divine aura or god like, all knowing expression or composure.
Nitish was really good in all avatars of Lord Vishnu in Vishnu Puran.
I now feel TV actors do not get their due. Filmi ones are hyped too much.
The guys playing Lakshman and Hanuman look terrible in clips. And so does Saif who is usually a good actor or saving grace...
"...being n explorer..." 👏
Yes! and I like your thought that each time has its specifics relative to what seemed important to people.
Nevertheless, I don't think than humankind has much evolved (if ever) when it comes to behaviour related to emotions...
I think, beliefs turned into religions because one needed (still needs) moral guidelines backed by higher powers than human powers.
Persons like Jesus and Mohammed had been special teachers with a bond between humans and the (highest) spiritual power...and they have had and have many, many fellow teachers ...male & female, young and old (as I think that also children can have such a special bond).
I really would like that religions are only used as guidelines for positive behaviour...and never as an excuse for negative one.

That is the concept of Guru. And religions in India give highest respect to Gurus.
