I don’t think so. His Bollywood BFFs are Kareena and Manish Malhotra. Somehow I see him being more buddy buddy with Malaika than Alia. With Alia it’s all business. Honestly, and this is just my speculation based on how he seems on KWK towards Alia compared to Bebo or even Deepika. Outside of work related stuff I’m not sure he even respects Alia as a grown adult 🤷🏽‍♀️

Alia has totally destroyed Mahesh's ego.

Mahesh also used to dislike Ranbir and called him overrated, ladies man, called Barfi the most overrated film he had seen in recent times - in an old episode of KWK.

While his daughter was obsessed with RK, ultimately became pregnant with his child before marriage and married him and did everything possible to impress Kapoors and be Kapoor bahu.

There was a meme comparing MB's old interviews to his present state accepting RK as his son in law.

It was viral and hilarious for a reason.

Children are the only ones who humble down ego of parents.

Yes I completely agree with this. I guess for all his eccentricities, and neglectfulness during his children’s growing years at the end he acted like a father and bowed down to what Alia wanted. But if he ever decides to open his mouth and spew his usual gibberish he can probably embarrass Alia and Ranbir into a PR catastrophe 🤷🏽‍♀️

Isn't Kareena too self involved to be anybody's best friend ?😁. Yeah Malaika maybe. I wonder why he never cast her in his films as a lead.

K Jo never promoted or supported Rani either. He gave her a raw deal in K3G and KANK giving her either a short role or an unlikable role. He has never given Rani a full fledged mainstream, likeable heroine role like he gave to Kajol in KKHH, K3G or to Preity in KHNH.

I agree Alia does not even have it in her to be in league of Rani let alone MD, DPad etc.

Honestly Rani achieved a lot on her own and even got backing of YRF only later. Prior to that she gave hit songs or films with others too. Ghulam, Chalte Chalte, Yuva, Black etc.

Rather Rani has got less backing and less favours from big banners compared to others in her prime and before marriage. She was never spoon fed like Alia.

Yea Kareena is too self involved. Maybe best friend wasn’t the right phrase. Maybe they’re gossip buddies. But I do believe he’s much closer socially to Kareena than Alia.

Malaika never broke into mainstream roles. I’m surprised she’s not on KWK more though.
