True!!! The comparison between abhi and Abhinav's insecurities are baseless. Their situations are completely different.

Also, Nav should have had this insecurity long back, when he agreed to become Abhir's father, even after knowing that the real father is alive.

Akshara can love him, be his love and wife forever, but Abhir never belonged to him. And that's the truth he needs to accept.

After staying with Akshara for 7 yrs, if he thinks he doesn't belong in her life, then all the trust, respect, understanding the couple had goes into the gutter. As abhi has made it very clear that he s in Kasauli for Abhir and Akshara has made it clear 1000 times that she prefers Abhinav.

The last thing I remember was the real father who was alive at the time abandoned the mother and the child. Did I miss anything?

And yes, we know Abhimanyu didn't know his child was alive but Nav heard Abhimanyu saying "I don't want anything to do with Akshara or her child"

Nav has never been insecure with Abhimnayu and Abhir. He's the one who wants to co-parent. But him getting insecure when his wife's ex-husband is roaming around while the ex-maa is asking him to reunite his wife with her ex-husband? I mean let this man breath.

The same real parent— a surgeon— kicked out the child's mother without even aborting the miscarried pregnancy which is why he didn't know about Abhir. So I don't feel too bad for him or his rights

Exactly!!! The term fake father is used nowhere but here lol. It does not make sense to me. A father who loves someone else's child as his own is termed as a "fake father" is beyond me at this point.

Please read my post first. I didn't say anything that Nav shouldn't feel insecure. But I do have an issue with how it is framed in the show, where he keeps thinking of it as somehow being his decision and him being a thorn or something when it is Ak's decision, and destiny isn't really that important.

As to the comment I responded to. Yes, Nav is disregarding the real parent. First, he played along with Ak about not telling Abhi and got super guilty, so he told him while drunk. But now, Nav's insecurity is from Abhir knowing Abhi is his real father. So Nav wants Abhir never to find out and maintain this facade that he is Abhir's ONLY father. Which is why I said that the Yashoda comparison was baseless cause Kanha ji obviously knew he real and adopted parents and loved them equally and they never compared who was better.

As to Nav's insecurity regarding Abhira that is a different issue and that is my post so please read that instead.

He did not play with Akshara on hiding Abhirs truth. He told her multiple times to tell the truth but then left the decision on her. He still felt guilty about it.

Who told Nav is insecure about Abhir finding truth. Did we even see in any episode what his emotions are on that. The focus was all on his finances and he just feared that he will loose his son forever. He is insecured because he has right to know his son has known the truth. Because his wife and her ex hided it from him. I don't deny Nav is little insecured but not for reasons your mentioning. The two reasons are one he fears he will loose his life his loving son forever because of his finances or whatever. Second he was orphan and gained this family whom he loves so much that he is scared to loose them.

See if you don't agree on this. It's ok we both have different opinions on this and let's peace out. I have put my thoughts and you did the same.
