Quick update:

Jai has a pic of vidhi and him from the dance and is talking to that - saying that she has never tasted freedom, she doesn’t know what it is like to fly. He thinks that he will break all her bonds and set her free.

On the other hand bims is still upset and tells HP that she wants to cut the contract with Super foods. HP says what reason should we give? She tells let’s tell him the truth - we’re going to start our own business. Vidhi comes there and tells them about stree vidhi. I am so proud of HP for not saying anything/doing anything and just saying he is proud of her. Bims is also happy for her, but not happy with her. Vidhi gets a text from Jai telling her he’ll be waiting for her at 5:30 tomorrow morning to continue the driving lesson! She ignores it. And tries to pacify her mom.

Bims gives her some good advice the same about balancing work and home, but she also tells her to think about dev. He doesn’t tell her anything but that doesn’t mean he isn’t hurt. She tells her that he was fully defending her and dint let anyone say anything. Vidhi realizes that she has been taking him for granted and feels sad. She promises her mom that she will make things right.

At home, chithra is panicking thinking about Vikram and crying, dev comes and gives her some strength. She tells him that she is not able to enjoy her pregnancy either thinking Amba or Vikram are going to do something. Dev tells her that she needs to decide if she wants a divorce or not, once she decides he will take care of everything.

Chithra decides to get a divorce. On the other hand Vikram is asking Yogesh for advice and Yogesh tells him that the Raichands are very aware and that he needs to play things carefully. He tells Vikram to try and meet chithra whenever she goes out, alone. And asks him to be nice.

Vidhi has made dinner for everyone and it’s what everyone likes. She’s made paneer for dev, who takes it and starts eating it without saying anything. Everyone praises her cooking and vidhi is like it is all your love - dropping huge hints toward dev and he is ignoring her and eating his food. Vidhi tries nudging him under the table with her foot - and he almost melts but decides to stay strong. Vidhi is sad. Later that night she tries to talk to him, but he’s already asleep.

Next day morning, alarm goes off at 4:30 - vidhi gets up, but dev is nowhere to be seen. She is about to go looking for him, when he comes with a cup of coffee. He keeps it down, takes her hands and kisses them (we will imagine the 3 missing kisses 😭😭😭) vidhi is so happy that he is ok now and hugs him. She tells him that she is very sorry. He tells her it’s not her fault - he should have realized she needed to learn driving and taught her. He wants to teach her now.m, so that nobody will insult her saying dev raichands wife doesn’t know how to drive. She says no, it’s all her job and that she is going to quit.
dev takes her hand and sits her down on the bed and kneels in front of her and tells her that’s not what he said. He tells her that he has no problem with her working or not. But she has to know how to draw boundaries. He says that he shouldn’t have realized that she needs to know how to drive and taught it earlier. But it dint strike him. Vidhi says it’s not his fault, she never expressed interest in it either. He says that he wants to give her all the happiness in the world, and this is something that he missed out on. Vidhi tells him how good it felt when she was driving and she felt like she was flying - she could go wherever she wanted etc. she says something about work/jai being immature.
He tells her they are equals and the only thing he will do is advise and it is upto her to take it and implement it the way she sees fit. She is like are you still mad. He says yes, but not at her, at her sar pe chadane wali habit (there isn’t a good way to say this in English). Vidhi says yes. He gives her some good advice and tells her that she needs to figure out how to implement it.
he tells her to get ready and that he will teach her to drive - she says no she’s not going to drive - esp after that accident. He pretends to pull something and vidhi freaks out and calls him dev. He says you did something you’ve never done before - you called me dev. So driving is no big deal. Vidhi agrees.

On the other hand Jai is getting ready with coffee, waiting for vidhi to come.

Dev and vidhi are getting into the car, they get really close when dev helps her put the seatbelt on.

Precap - vidhi dev come back home from their driving lesson, and jai is there. Later, jai tells vidhi in front of everyone that I was waiting for you - I tried calling you, texting you - you dint respond.

Editors - I have a huge bone to pick with you - you dint find 5 seconds anywhere else to cut - you had to pick only the ViDev scene - one which has come after so many days of nothing. WTH are you guys doing?
