The thing about test is that it's grueling. You need precision, accuracy, patience and a lot of grit to just keep at it for those long hours.
Most players can start out well but then start to lag as the day goes on. Their performance becomes sluggish — and it's natural.
There's a reason why it's called "test" cricket. It's literally the biggest test of a player's mettle.
Ashwin and Bumrah are both true Test players. With them around, not only would they restrict this chase better but also I feel Siraj and Shami's performance would've also been better.
Their presence could've taken off a lot of pressure from these two that they're currently having to shoulder alone.
Bowling esp is a team effort. Even a single experienced player improves the overall morale of the team. Here we're missing two 😪
