Actually there was a lot of progress in their love story. In Maryam's track we can see Meerab in the same stage of murtasim we saw in earlier episodes of their marriage. All the stares, attraction, thinking about him, being jealous to the point she went spying, her crying for murtasim when he explained tells about his dream. We know Maryam was all about running and giving warning about suicide. But still how can she help her. And trust a stranger. Does she know anas? No. She already saw how his mother even if she was fake talked with the family. Then in what world did she think it was right. May be I'm not the only one not getting this.

From then on the story is butchered. Haya made a video but no one asks how did she have that. And not tell anyone. They conveniently forgot that. And murtasim is waiting for Malik zubair's phone as if he have all the time in the world without searching for his sister. 🤦🤦. Those episodes are out of my mind.

By progression I meant confession, they could've played the consummation part later but had they both reached a point of confession it would have given the viewers I feel alot to look forward to and also tolerate all the BS and not lose patience.

Maryam track is one of the most butchered part of the story - in my opinion both were wrong and both were right - they had always shown meerab to fight for someone right and I think she wanted to help Maryam out because she somewhere wanted to correct the wrong that was done to her. She did try her best to convince everyone in whatver way she could but the makers didn't highlight that part well and threw her under the bus again - I also understand where Murtasim was coming from but I feel if she was insisting so much he could have found out more, like after she went to check the so called brothel and returns with a negative he should have gotten cautious and suspicious considering he knew that Malik Zubair had already threatened. After he decided to leave her at Karachi for betraying his trust they should have given them some time to reflect and actually given us some of meerabs pov as well but alas we didnt get any of that also frustrating and confusing us even more. Biggest problem they never show any conversation between the leads they just DONT TALK 😑

I think the makers took lot of liberties in that track and made a royal mess of it to the point even I don't know now what I am writing 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫
