Except his insecurities with Aaliya there is nothing wrong with the guy. He is a well brought up, well mannered happy go lucky guy that gets along with literally anyone.

I guess he is there more for Aaliya than Aaliya is there for him. He is created as a guy that Aaliya can lean on when she gets tired and Aaliya is not created as girl he can lean on. He has his mother for that. The expectation Aaliya has from him seems to be way higher than salman has on her.

At the end Aaliya will choose him because she needs him and not on the basis of which guy needs her the most.

Yeah on one hand I get that they barely give the character screen time. But on the other, just because a man likes a woman doesn't mean she owes him everything. His mother explained it well to him and yet he still doesn't seem to get it. He keeps getting upset with her when the two of them don't have a relationship. She's not his fiancé or wife, so she doesn't have to explain herself to him. I do think Aaliya can be annoying with her responses to him. The two of them need to have a long proper conversation with each other...based on the promo we won't be getting that any time soon.

Overall, the makers should have focused on Salman-Aaliya's relationship more instead of spending so much time on Asfar.

Him getting upset in the last episode was fully justified. Like Rabia said take the fact that salman likes Aaliya out of it. He still deserved an explanation because he was genuinely worried for her and he went out looking for her at night. Even if he is just her friend, won't he be angry? I personally have gotten angry on one of my friend for a very similar situation in the past. She was so careless that she made me and her mother super worried for her. My anger towards her has nothing to do with me having any right over her. It was my concern for her as a friend that made me super mad at her and i deserved an apology and explanation from her side. I have never gotten that angry on any of my friends before that. Atleast here salman kept quite, i fired her the moment i saw her in front of my eyes and almost made her cry and stopped talking to her for a while. 😆

And yes it's high time they give more focus on Aaliya and Salman. I was fine with the overdose of asfar at the start as he needed to be established but it's getting too much now. Aaliya and Salman never got the amount of focus in 20episodes that Aaliya and asfar are getting in the last 4-5 episodes.

Also to further the above conversation, confessions are not the only way people acknowledge their feelings. Salman has shown his advances towards her and she has never denied those advances. This is how people usually begin their relationships. One advances and the other accept/ rejects. He keeps flirting with her and she enjoys it or at least doesn’t deny it (flower petal scene, dabe paon chali ayii, dara rahi ho muhje, etc.). Furthermore the sock earring scene is quite an indication of her feelings too. Although I do agree throwing tantrums is childish but being upset about someone who you know that there is something going on is not unreasonable. I don’t like how he is behaving but I get it. It’s not just in Salman’s head. In fact if Asfer were to start acting like that ( like the promo is alluding too) then it would be weird because Aliyah has never shown any indication she likes Asfer; but she has with Salman.

Wish we got Sajal and Bilal in Ishq mursheed. This show is doing injustice to both of them and the actors too.

I wish sajal was in tere meri kahaani but rumours say it's hania. I dont mind hania but i want a proper romantic drama of these two. Can't wait for years for that😔. Bilal himself putting ghee on fire is not helping either 😆

More than Alia, Asfar could've been shown to be improving his relationship with Sehrish (esp with the custody of the daughter rather than continuing to burn bridges through the plot deal) and then their story is over. Sajal and Bilal do have potential but the way their dynamics have been depicted, its really unfair esp for Alia's character.
