Great question. I need to reflect more but one obvious difference is in their communication styles and tact.

We saw Mariam explain her situation and feelings calmly and clearly to Naurez. Mariam must have been feeling aghast and still traumatized from the MZ incident. She too had tried telling Naurez before in the mall that she did not want to marry him. But on her SR, when talking with Naurez, she was able to keep her reactions toned down / under control. She didn't erupt at Naurez, lash out at him, blame him. Instead, she took a chance at making him her ally by taking him into confidence and talking it over like adults.

Mujhe bhi ye hi baat lage thi pehle dafa but then everyone is saying something else tu mujhe laga maine hi galat socha hai.I was sure ka woh forgiveness wale baat murtasim ke liye bole thi.But I wonder if they have shown MR tu tu ye scenario opposite ho jata hai aur isse baat se mujhe lagta hai ka jo hua woh consent ka saath hua hai that's why in the end, murtasim will forgive meerab for punishing him.Per then meerab/yumna ke acting se ye lag rahe hai ka MR hua hai.Ajab koi confusion hai 😡
