At least my mom left me with my father/grandparents when she had to make short trips of her own. It didn't leave me traumatized or anything. It's crazy how we have accepted fathers being away for months even (Abhishek was shooting for Dhoom 3 for three months in the US when Aaradhya was just 2-3 months old). But a mother leaving her almost 12 year old daughter for a couple of days is so difficult to digest? Strange.

My parents once went on a short trip for couple of days..leaving me n my bro with Nani and caretaker. I didn't go to them at all once they returned..took lot of coaxing. Mom's not sure if I didn't recognise her or was angry..after that they never did a trip without me till I got married 😂
