Yes, names are important...that's why the Me Too mouvement never got successful in India...and now, even those men whose names were called out, just continue their life as if nothing was told.

The filmindustry is like some other profession-groups (like judges and politiciens of the same party and religious people of the same faith and teachers and police officers) ..."Birds of a feather flock together"...yet that doesn't mean that the whole filmindustry is like that (and all judges, all politicians etc)...there are many hard working and decent men who won't touch a woman without her consent, who don't lust after little girls or little boys, who respect a woman's space (without being gay or bi)...and I guess there are even gay and bisexual men who are decent guys and don't force themselves on others.

You talking about that Junko Furuta case? Yup I have read about that one. I was in school when I first got to know about it and till this day it disturbs me since I unfortunately read all the details. Even that Nirbhaya case from Delhi is horrifying! 😞😞😞

That case made me sick to the core! 😞😞. There’s a movie called “ girl in the basement” which is based on this horrific case.

Ariel Castro ke case ki yaad aa gayi. Ek nahin, teen teen ladkiyon ko kidnap karke rakha tha for more than a decade... He kept them almost like wives, and they had to compete for his affection.... even today they are not in touch with each other... it was horrible.

Worst things:

• He kidnapped those girls not as children but as grown up teens/adults (eldest was 21 when kidnapped). Do nobody's safe...
• He didn't get to complete his sentence because he was able to commit suicide.... so couldn't face the repercussions of his actions. How badly I wanted him to not die (was following the case when the court proceedings were happening)
• I'm pretty sure there are many such slaves being kept out there 🥺

That's why maybe Kapoors never wanted their daughters to enter into this industry. 🤢 Or even Sr Ab for that matter.
