OMG!! They made it sound like Meeraâs initiated the whole thing. Wow!! This edited episode just wanted to whitewash Murtasim making Meeraâs the culprit. Now they edited and are trying to show Meeraâs is ashamed of her act⊠Misogyny at the highest level!! Iam still traumatized thinking how the writer wanted to show them in love after MR!! I now wonder if the writer thinks itâs normal to be in love with a rapist!!

Makers want audience to be fool & believe this is expression of the girl who just gave in heat of the moment & regrets.
If this is regret face then how does traumatizing face look

Exactly. MR doesn't make sense if you watch the first 45 episodes. That's horrible writing for you. The murtasim and meerab we know would never behave this way.
But what I'm saying is if you watch episode 46 ending and watch the actions taken by both meerab and murtasim in 47 then only MR makes sense. The voiceover makes no sense.
Why would a girl initiate with a husband she just slapped, spitted on, who just pushed her to bed, threatened her and she also assumes he cheated on her. Why would she loose control or initiate anything ?
She'd shake with anger and she did. They made a joke of her situation. They humiliated and insulted a females NO by making her loose control to save the hero.
Does that make more sense to what I'm trying to say?
Sorry for my rant and if it's not clear
You do make sense and rant on cos we are all majorly disappointed.
Their reaction afterwards was shocking to see.
However..
From todayâs episode, the things that made me feel it wasnât MR:
- Meerab calling herself KMKâs biwi
- Meerabâs dupatta and jewelry sat neatly beside Murtasim when he sat on the bed.
Plus I canât negate the 46-episodes worth of story and Murtasimâs character as of now.
The writer/director purposely shot it this way cos they wanted to reveal in the end. A cheap tactic but thatâs how I see it.
In the upcoming episodes, itâll be more clear cos if it was MR, itâll be choppy filled with voiceovers and edits. They canât change the entire story smoothly now.
thank you â€ïž
Yaar Meerab called herself Murtasimâs biwi because she wanted the gate to open. No other reason.
I want to see the deleted scenes from this episode

She just wanted to get out that's all
Whatever it took
My take on Mee leaving:
Mee came with contract to protect herself. She was forced into the marriage, and she from start promised to herself that she wonât give in to marriage, giving in would mean accepting whatever happened with her. She doesnât want to accept it, accepting anything that was forced on her is not mee.
Everyone wants to have a happy marriage. To have a happy marriage one has to give in, but Mee doesnât want to give in. So, she comes up with a contract, which reminds Mee âDonât give in, you were forced.â
I am not Muslim but from what I understand about Nikah, is that they sign a legal document.
That contract in Meeâs mind was somewhere above that legal document, it was protecting mee
Mee says âIâll leave you the day, Iâll breach the contract.â And then says âQubool hai.â
She meant it that time.
Mee leaving was like she broke a clause in the contract she designed for herself, she had to pay for it. She leaves. She had to follows the rule she made, she had to leave him, even if she doesnât want to, because that contract mattered to Mee.
For Mu, contract wasnât important, Mee was. For Mee it was hell important.
She called herself his wife, she wasnât disgusted at all. She loves him.
She doesnât regret giving in into him, but regrets breaking the promise she made to herself, she gave in, she disrespected herself in a way. If you disappoint yourself, itâs really bad disappointment. Mee did that. She disappointed herself. She is egoistic person, she cannot accept that gave in, had Mu broke the contract (not forcefully), it would have been easy her, she would have blamed him but now she canât him, she is one to be blamed. She can not take it. No one likes losing and Mee hates it.

Same. I want to know what they actually thought for the story.
If MR wasn't even there (according to some fans) then they should have no problem releasing it

I know thatâs it not really a topic explored in PTV, but physical intimacy with someone you love, whether in the heat of the moment or not, results in some connection. Itâs not just hot sex with some hot guy you pick up at the club. In that situation, itâs just sex. With Meerab and Murtasim, they are a husband and wife that have such an emotional history already and they both do love each other. It should have brought up some tenderness within themselves, in reality⊠this cold behavior and overly angry reaction afterwards is not believable to me. And itâs not like they were drunk to the point that it wasnât totally consensual. Angry enraged sex is not the same as intoxicated sex.
I dunno. Iâm annoyed that the sex aspect of marriage was kind of just treated like it was a random party fling leaving them disgusted at themselves instead of looking at it as a physical union. If you donât want to discuss it then donât, but then why the need to create this type of a reaction.
Yes. Equally annoyed here too. Not sure if you're practice any religion and if you do, particularly Islam, sex is such a sacred concept. And if you study about it through lens of souls connecting and that deed bringing about a life into the world, it's even deeper. For these two characters, it wasn't just some shoddy concept.
The reason Meerub placed the condition and someone like Murtasim accepting the condition meant they both understood, valued and respected the concept of consent. And that sex between husband and wife, ideally the best kind, the kind where you establish and feel a connection on all levels, mind, body and soul isn't something that is to be done merely to satisfy one's physical desires and needs. Sex as a concept to feed one's body because that's one of the most basic human needs also is a different concept altogether and that is not what I'm discussing and tbh, that doesn't even fit into Murtasim and Meerub's dynamic.
Because if acceptance and complete acceptance through making place in each other's heart and thereby, giving up one's body to the other as a form of expressing that love wasn't important to either of them, didn't hold a lot of significance and value and if the whole jihad (read : struggle or battle) against one's own nafs wasn't to gain respect and acceptance then these two would have done it a long time ago. I'm sure there must have been pak shows where consummation came before love? I can't recall anyone right now but I'm guessing there must have been. And to do such a huge disservice to one's own product....nah, I don't get this Nooran woman as a writer. đ€Ș
Edit :
But obviously, the whole bathroom sequence and Meerub's devastating look doesn't make sense in this context because it was intended as an MR originally. The more I think, the more I'm sure about it lol. Thanks to the fandom, bach gaye baal baal.
