Incidentally, that gajra scene was also where I felt Merub was the most responsive to and aroused by MK's romantic attention.

I still don’t think there was MR. They wanted it to show it like that until the end. The backlash made them edit and add the voiceovers.

This is the first time we are seeing ‘angry sex’ on PTV, that too after an ugly fight and an ominous door-closing scene.

I am all for angry sex but considering there was a mighty contract b/w them and it was their first time, they should’ve shown something.. a touch, a stare, pieces of paper.

PTV can’t even show a passionate kiss, and now they have left so much to our imagination. The audience deserved it. Maybe it’ll be revealed in the latter episode, but today was a disappointment.

Meerab’s character continues to make illogical decisions and we’ve no choice but to go with the flow. Hiding pregnancy/child from Murtasim will be a thing one can’t forgive easily.

It’s a disservice to YumHaj. A proper c&c could have been a pathbreaking scene in PTV, be it emotional or angry, we needed to See it. They would have performed it brilliantly.

I’ll continue to watch the show until it ends, but with zero expectations. I love the fanfic on Wattpad more.

Logically and realistically, so many couples in an arrange marriage scenario (not like the one they had though) consummate their marriage within the first few weeks or max, first few months. 8 months is an extremely long period for a newly married couple to go on without any sort of making out atleast, if not a full fledged consummation, especially if they're flirty and fire-y with each other.

Now, in their context and scenario, the consummation could have come earlier on (with or without a love confession kyunki mohabbat waqt ke saath saath, aietbaar hote hote, ek dusre ko samjhte hue hoti hain, hormones and sex usually don't wait that long) So, ideally, like someone said a few pages ago too that their love confession and/or consummation could have come before the Mariyum track and then, all the shitfest goes down and they get separated. And this particular point/episode in the moment would have been the best one to lead to that.

If not this, then the moment where Murtasim confesses about his past love and his dreams about becoming a photographer would have been a BANGER. More so, because by then Meerub had already fallen in love with him pretty much, that dance stage was still their progression period. And after he tells her that he's lost love once and he can't lose it once more would have been a great stage for her to confess and them to consummate.

But nooope! 🤔🤪

This show is so yuck.

I think I secretly want to believe that MR was never part of the storyline not only because it’s disturbing but also so the rest of the story makes sense. If that was the original plan, the rest of the story won’t make sense. I hope we see more scenes in flashbacks to explain what happened.

Otherwise, if this had to be a normal confession between two people, they would have held hands or hugged or something of that sort.

Even the best of confessions or pre-consummation scenes that pak shows must have had shown, even they have been so...stingy. I mean, make it look slightly realistic and believe, if possible? I remember in ZGH, I got such a shocker when Kashaf revealed that she was pregnant. And woh toh normal couple bhi the tab with occasional bickering moments. Let the couple hold hands or let them hug or let them look into each other's eyes while the room's door closes automatically, let the lights go dim while couple proceeds towards the bed. Go old school bhai! Aur kuch nahi toh do phoolon apas mein kiss kar rahein hain, wahi dikha do. 😆

Now, because the episode was already shot and they couldn't have included any newly shot scenes as shooting is done with, they had to make do with cheap ass voiceovers. Also, Yumna's whole devasted and ruined look. No person who has had angry consensual sex looks like that or leaves the home in that situation kyunki haye haye, legally wedded shauhar ke saath gusse-gusse mein chumma chatti hogayi. Guilt and regret from that look very different, her look was meant to imply an MR. But audience ne inki dara kar jaan nikal di, hences the changes lol.

No doubt left they shot it as MR. I think that if they shot it why didn't they have the guts to show it as MR. Darr kuu gaye? Did they not think what horrific thing they shot?

Biggest insult is to Meerab. She said No to him a thousand times. Even after episode 20.

But the female fans were desperate to see her f#$@ him at any cost. They were wanting her agreeableness as the end goal

I'm shocked people think it's regret or anger.

Look at her halat.

The writer and Marie who gives direction for scenes admitted.

I'm frightened by people denying what they see by their own eyes more than murtasim doing MR.
