Ok another theory to justify this weird episode. Murtasim is the one who rips the contract to show that it has no importance. Meerab initiates doing it out of anger. He knows it’s out of anger and doesn’t even know that she loves him so is feeling deep regret. Like he knew she wasn’t ready and was doing it at the heat of the moment out of anger and he knowingly went along with it. She’s regretting it because she thinks he’s a player in her mind apparently going by what she said last episode. She wasn’t ready and wants to leave now. They wanted us to suspect MR and weren’t going clarify until later but had to edit because of the backlash. I feel like if it was MR all along, the rest of the show would not make sense.

Pakistani dramas should not show angry sex because they can’t actually show anything. We need to decipher what happened. Hopefully we see some conversations in flashbacks to explain.
