There’s a family that invites me over for dinner quite frequently. Yesterday the lady of the house showed me her cousins’ pictures and said “bhaiyya, yeh ladkiyaan sunder hai kya?”. Some of them were really beautiful, so I gave my honest opinion. Then she proceeded to ask “mujhse bhi?”. I totally failed to take the hint and blurted out “ kya puchh rahe ho bhabhi, yeh ladki aapse bahot jyaada sunder hai”
She went to finish cooking while I talked to her husband and played with her child. Food was unusually spicy and salty. Her husband and I ate without complaining and he kept shooting daggers at me
I’m contemplating politely declining next time they invite me over, though the kid totally loves me 😒
