Exactly. I mean it worked great for that scene, for her to say this. But would have been nice to have some background to this in a previous scene. Like even Meerab saying she doesn’t love her shohar or whatever, and Mariyam snickering, or rolling her eyes or something like she knows she’s starting to love him. or a flashback. Anything.
