Meerub made a grave error in facilitating Maryam’s elopement. Murtasim leaving her (even for good) for endangering his sister is valid but him dropping her off outside on the road, not stopping to see her go inside and that too at the door of those who once abandoned her is unacceptable. I’m glad she didn’t come back. Both need to meet each other halfway at this point.
