My view is…two things need to happen:

1) Meerab needs to realize she wants to be with Murtasim who heartedly. Otherwise, nothing will work for her character. She is not a “make do” kind of a person, when she is truly being herself. She will never be happy with him otherwise…instead she will continue to doubt and take out her annoyance and frustrations on him.

2) And Mr. Khan MUST ensure that the house he brings her into is SAFE for her and for her children. In general, if a man can’t promise that to his wife, he has no right to bring her there or expect her to remain there. Taken from this fundamental principal, Murtasim failed. (Although…I don’t think he willingly brought her here in the first place…it was a forced situation. So, this time around, he needs to bring her back to him when he can ensure a safe environment for her and future kiddos.) Safe environment = safe from Haya, beizzati from parents, etc. From this perspective, he also didn’t keep her safe from MZ, twice. He knows she is kinda clueless when push comes to shove, running after bakris and trusting in Anas and Rohail types, so then he also needs to account for this in his protection plan. (Yes…she also needs to to grow up to help with this too, and he needs to get REAL security in the form of physical security, and mental security = trust that comes with real communication.)
