No I actually prefer my favorite entertainment stars and athletes to be apolitical
I have been a fan of Bollywood and personal lives of Bollywood stars. (After sushant my interest in Bollywood took a back seat)
I have loved salman, shahrukh (sourav ganguly, Rahul Dravid). I once bought being human tshirt (200 rs) when I was 17 or 18. My own political view changes time to time but my view used to changed about the star when I'd learn oh they are supporting that party? Not done. Over years I know the political support is also a show off.
Bas itna.
đdo stars even have knowledge about world and next think about it? They don't have India view, so world view can't be expected.
Stars only thinking about themselves and their world is their fame.
No, I only rule my life. They used some of my idols for the mass vaccination and i ignored them đ because I knew Pfizer gave them money for it đđ
actually, their worldview affects my view of them.đ Whenever I see an actress join the JNU types to protest about an issue I can bet a million bucks she has no understanding of, I find out something I did not know about her- that she is one dumb phony female who can sell her own mother down the river if it comes to it. And ditto for the male actors.
Everybody I observe effects my worldview in one way or other , celebs are no exception.
I won't go run and buy a product a celeb is selling but if they say something in a interview or tweet something I resonate with that little thing has the same impact as coming across any random profound quote that rings true.
On top of my head, I can recently recall absolutely loving the description Andrew Garfield gave of Jonathan Larson and the likes here... from 2:00 to 5:00 he talks but the stuff around 3.45 to 5.0 mark is so beautifully articulated.
And then I see something like this. Superman onscreen and had to go through a lot off screen and still he contributed in his own way...
Message triumps messenger for me.
yeah they influence my world view. They make me wonder how people can get to be so low IQ and whacked up as they are. Like, is it nurture or nature, or everything messed up?đđ
No but it can be interesting to hear different views even from them with some sort of detachment, helps you balance out perspectives.
The answer is big No
I treat them as my servant u entertain,i pay your salary in the cinema thats my arrogance to themđ¤Łthey can never be my worldview for me the word 'stars' 'superstars' 'megastars' does not exist in my dictionary you are what u are because of the audience. If they can give u these tags they can drag u down to noone. Maturity has grown into me that i see them as entertainment for my boredom nothing else if they come.infront which they have being me as officials i ignore. Honestly when fans ignores them it irks them
No.
They all have more or less the same generic view and a lot of teleological fallacy, which makes me lose interest in their personality, but I still can enjoy their movies. đ¤ˇââď¸
