Sanju Samson and the RR management got their plans spot on. Right from reading the surface, opting to bat, posting a massive total, getting the bowling matchups right; they almost had a perfect game. This was not a belter by any stretch but that innings from Jaiswal was the difference today. Most of the batters struggled to time the ball and Jaiswal's 77 off 43 set up this win for the Royals. CSK never got to the fifth gear, Conway struggled in the powerplay, Gaikwad and Rahane ticked over without causing any panic to RR, and the only time there seemed to be any pressure on the home side was when Moeen and Dube were in the middle. Once that partnership was broken, it was a matter of RR bowlers keeping the nerve and executing their plans which Sandeep and Co. did perfectly. Stick around for the presentations..
Csk canāt chase 200 it seems š

No problem, anyway ytd only few kkr fan who celebrated soš¤·āāļø
MS Dhoni: They scored quite a bit above par. We gave away too many in the first six. At the same time, wicket was great to bat on then. Bowlers bowled well in the middle overs but a lot of edges that went for boundaries, at least 5-6 went for them and that had an impact. They had par-plus and we couldn't get a good start in the power play with the bat. I felt Pathirana's bowling was good, he didn't bowl badly, I think the scorecard doesn't reflect how well he bowled. Yashasvi batted really well, was important to go after the bowlers and it was important to take calculated risks. We had to assess what a good length is, as captain you tell them but initially we have away a few boundaries and after that you're always playing catch up. In the end, Jurel batted well but I think it's the first six where it got away from us. This is a very special venue, my first ODI hundred in Vizag gave me 10 games but the 183 I made here gave me another one year. It was great to be back here.
Zampa not the motm as he is getting interviewed. So it will be Jaiswal?

We will ruin parties only now....Don't think KKR can qualify except for 100% win from here. š
