The priest tells the Senapati that the medicines must be inside the room if everything outside has been checked, and they hatch a plan.

The family photo is taken. Tara is feeling tensed for her brother. Dhruv checks and says her pulse is high.

The priest gets both Mahavir and his wife outside on the pretext of a yagna, and at the same time, the Senapati lays fire to the room with a long-distance arrow. The medicines in the room are burnt.

Tara apologies to the family members about the fake marriage and Dhruv explains the whole story. Lalita, Susheela and Nani say they knew it too, and Susheela bring the sindoor box. She says she has seen love in both of their eyes- Tara corrects her but saying it isn't love, but respect and trust that has allowed them to share a room despite not being married.

Precap- Tara tells that she is already engaged, and that her father's promise is above everything to her. Dhruv tells his family (in her absence) that he will change the past and win Tara's folks over.
