Again, chemistry is subjective, PEMRA doesn't look if the leads are looking hot, they will go by the rules of what is acceptable to show on TV.

There are scenes TB actually has and scenes we wish TB had. The convo I was responding to was in context of whether the Vivah scene could have been allowed by PEMRA in TB.

In terms of actual TB scenes:

Yumna herself is quiet conservative so I am pretty sure TB scenes will not cross any limits. We will be lucky to get one proper hug (like the one b/w Hania and Farah in MH or Hania and Wahaj in MPHT)

PEMRA doesn't have very well-defined rules - this arbitrariness is what gives them power - I mean DNUTN was banned by PEMRA 😡 Having said that, strictly speaking, physical contact in TB (skin to skin / body to body) is tame compared to some other shows. The two hugs we got were really half-hugs and their bodies never touch (lights off, kidnap rescue), Hand holds where even palms touch are few (dance, coffee). I have seen dance scenes in OSTs - I would say that the pulling her in part to be so close to his body was bold and not what I have seen before - twirls, spins and dips I have seen before. But since PEMRA doesn't have clear rules on what is decent, if the powers that be want, anything can be banned and something egregious may never get banned.

P.S. At one time a few years ago, PEMRA issued a notice to ask local television channels to "stop airing caress and hug scenes" in dramas but clearly no one complied.
