i low key feel bad for shiva. I don’t suppôt his behaviour towards Raavi but suman nor his brothers nor bhabhi have ever taken the time to explain the truth to him. He is shown to have realized that time has passed but he can’t make sense of anything and if the faces they make are anything to go by they are clearly annoyed and irritated when he asks questions. Why the secrecy around marriages or children? Why not tell him the truth? There is no sense there…. And he lashes out at the only person he knows- Raavi.
But this is a part of a bigger conversation- why is raavis pain ignored? Why is her hardships ober nine years just pushed under the rug?
What about Rishitas pain to reunite with her daughter? She literally bought back the woman who wrecked her life to bond with her own child… that’s pathetic.
Why ain’t suman concernéd they are always one operation away from bankruptcy?
But it’s about Dhara and her tantrums… she is big mad that nobody rolled out the red carpet for her at the hospital to take her back in a rolls Royce and throw a nine gun salute for giving up her kidneys in her stomach. who cares?! She is now butt hurt that she had to give up a kidney and no one in the hospital threw a party for her in her honour, worshipping her Amar kidney ingoring the fact that a child went thru the same operation.
Dhara’s biggest problem is that she wants to be a victim and a hero, at the cost of shivas life and now the kids are being dragged down with her.
I too feel sorry for Shiva. Losing 9 years of one's life is not a small matter. The family never making his medical needs a priority has been a disturbing constant since the boxing matches track started.
My problem with his character is that his condition isn't causing him to behave erratically. He is choosing to treat Raavi like that. This is supposed to be how he was with her before they got married. That is so problematic. He isn't coming across as even a decent human being at the moment. The fact that he considers her to be his brother's wife makes the way he talks to and about her all the worse. Not to mention she was visibly injured when he was busy degrading and threatening her after she came back. Why is he so full of hate for someone who hasn't wronged him or his family. Their previous childish fights/differences don't warrant such an attitude.
Suman was heartbroken when her sons left the house but doesn't care about them when they are with her. Where does the mother's love disappear to in such situations.
The family decided to promptly make Raavi leave the house as her presence was apparently causing Shiva stress after just one single such episode. They weren't however concerned about his mental health when it came to any other matter. Not only did they talk about all other issues in front of him, they even involved him in some of them. He was asked to join them in beating up a person without knowing the reason behind it (and he did).
The family constantly lying about all the relations and making a mess of them was so utterly ridiculous and unnecessary. He could have at least been told the truth about Dev and Rishita.
Both Raavi and Rishita are desperate to save a loved one and doing whatever it takes. It's really sad how much they are suffering and the extent they are having to / willing to go to. Their pain should be focused on properly instead of being brushed aside.
Dhara behaving the way she is while conveniently putting everyone else's troubles aside makes her look really bad. She isn't even thinking about the child she claims to love so much. How can she be shown to care more about her own feelings than those of a 7-8 year old who just learnt the truth about being 'adopted'.
