I had to admit how personally, I thought neither Dhruv nor Tara had any romantic feelings for each other at the moment. Why Dhruv impressed me because I felt he was going out of the way to help Tara just out of generosity or the unsaid friendship that just happened. 😆

But Dhruv is a different case. I don't deny he has been very good in the recent episodes. However, there are certain lines that should never be crossed and once they do that, I lose my connection with the characters and stop rooting for them. Dhruv's promise to Ayesha was one such line for me. In addition, his earlier misconception about his mom and his sudden love for Tara isn't sitting well with me.

I have already seen Ishhan playing Neel who was everything Dhruv is and much more. So it became even more difficult for me to like his character here.

That promise sucked but more than that, it was so unnecessary. Like why in the world would you say that you would never love anyone/marry anyone? Sure, had Dhruv been head over heels in love with Ayesha and circumstances occured that made her walk away from him - in that situation, Dhruv saying something like this would have made sense. Thik hai. If he had gone like - tumse itna pyaar kiya hai ke ab tum nahi to koi aur nahi. Problem yahi hai ke ladke ko pyaar uss se tha nahi to ye promise aaya kaha se? 😆
