Good for him, where is his 4k episodes celebration? Why he does not invite and commemorate old contributers except one actor? If Rishta is his flagship show why does he block media only for this one show at his beck and call? Why does he not invest his best creatives continuously? Why the best writers and creatives took a break for gen3? Why was there never really a journey with intent?
Most of the audiences have been annoyed with the lack of good side character POVs in this gen, the 1st leap was promoted but it was so badly written they had to shut it down ...he can kid non watchers with his grand words....people who've been watching know they messed up big time this season on every level - PH value, creativity, writing, screentime, secondary character's! They had a goldmine with the jodi popularity, they wrote the stupidest tracks or put forward less better actors in those tracks!
If they really cared Vinay, Mayank, Ami, Sachin etc,. everyone would have been the talking point for 18+ months...coz every single one of them is incredibly talented but at this point their character's are either missing or the audience does not even know what their clear POV is!
Accept your team messed, you did not take proper efforts into this gen just for numbers and then gloat RS & don't take your actor's for granted.
Wasn't Gen1 one of the most normal shows on ITV with very everyday writing? Didn't it run for years? Look in what went wrong after that then gloat!
This guy is supposed to be the best producer in ITV? No wonder ITV is sinking! Coz a story without good creativity and writing never sails, actors only come next. Why he took 12+ months to realise that is something only he can introspect!
True first of all they sidelined all side characters and only added arohi and KM to do kaands and expect trp to fall on their head.
