This is injustice against men and women. Women can be just if not more sexually forthcoming than a man. But nooooooo it would blow our conservative minds to think of a woman like that, she is a mother, a wife, a goddess, but sex and woman that is a sin.

How can an alpha man like Murtasim resist sex, it goes against his image of being a man's man. I was the one who said for Meerab she won't sleep with him until she is sure of him. But what if it is opposite now, Murtasim is holding back because he wants their relationship to be at that ideal stage where he feels their union will not just be an act of lust but a beautiful memory for both of them. Murtasim can't be sentimental like that, does such thoughts take away from his manhood, he is not allowed to romanticize sex or is that only the jurisdiction of women.

Meerab being alpha queen is all like why not, she might not realize how deeply she loves him yet, but she loves him enough to consummate this marriage. Why Meerab can't have desires, why can't she just be let's do this and have a good time, she is not allowed to feel this way because that is a man's right. We want Meerab to give in when she does we don't want to see it, because she wasn't clear enough, how much more clearer does she need to be. Honestly sexism is such an inseparable part of mindset of most ( won't spare me as well ) but I do feel the disappointment in Meerab comes partly from a place of sexism !

Like how dare she not want her husband, how can she not see through his love, how can she still not reciprocate blah blah ! And now if she would want to accept him or if they show that she's reading to take the big leap physically without being emotionally there, she'd still be called out ! This isn't in context to this show exactly! That's how women are perceived in general

Maybe this was one of reasons why she signed this show! To drive home point That you have right of consent in your marriage! You can say No if you don’t want to and say Yes when you want it!
