ikr..honestly the success of TB scares me in a way that I hope this is NOT what keeps getting churned out..we have had excellent shows like Parizaad and Raqeeb se and Pyaar ke sadkay just very recently..I hope that is the kind of content we get in future too. I too enjoy masala shows. Recently I watched Sar E Raah too ..even though it was preachy..it was wonderful 6 episodes of women empowerment..and I was so happy to see that..I enjoy Chand Tara for the same reason..it’s a good show..progressive with a working couple etc…even if too bubblegum and candy floss sometimes..atleast the base storyline is progressive..
I mostly watch pak dramas for it's down to earth storyline and simplicity and subtleness. Not for ott dramas.
I don't have any problem with completely commerical dramas with a decent storyline like aik sitam aur or all the ramdan dramas but TB is absurdity with inconsistency from every single character and no progress. If i have to watch inconsist characters, cartoonish villains, hot blooded ml, dumb FL who hides behind a strong female facade and ott storylines I would just switch on starplus or zeetv. Atleast there will be enough intimate scenes and we can say the writers have to come up with storylines on a daily basis and shoot also happens just few days before it airs. Pak dramas are pre-producted with limited episodes. So they don't have the excuse of not having time to come up with a decent storyline or inconsistency in characters.
.I don’t deny that Yumna and Wahaj have bomb chemistry..it’s the storyline that’s totally bogus by now..maybe the only one I will be interested again is if Murtasim was just playing Meerub all this while and did this to usurp the Chachajaan ki proprrty or something 🤣 and turns 360 degree around to reveal his baddie side 🤣 oh wait that plot line is also very Gul Khan :p
