Part 6
Sai muttered to herself as she rubbed her eyes and sat up in bed. The aroma of delicious food filled her senses and made her stomach growl with hunger. She looked around the room, trying to remember where she was and what was happening. As her eyes adjusted to the dim light, she noticed her Satya, Savi, and Vinu arranging all the dishes in front of the sofa, grinning at her. Sai smiled back, trying to understand what was happening.
"Araam se Dr. Joshi! meri haath ke banaye hue chai peete hi itni chaein ki neend aayi na?" Satya asked cheerfully.
Sai nodded, still feeling a bit groggy. "Bilkul, lekin yeh sab?" she asked, gesturing to the food.
Savi spoke up. "Surprise aai"
Sai felt touched by their thoughtfulness. Sai looked at Satya who proudly looked at the kids "Thank you so much, mere kohinoor. Lekin mujhe koi utha dete, mehmaan ke haathon se hi dinner banwadi?," she said, feeling a lump form in her throat.
Vinu chimed in. "Lekin woh toh mere dost hain, aapke bhi, toh unka haq banta hai na?" They hi-fied.
Sai felt a warm feeling spread through her chest. "Hmm, toh khana khaye!" she said, feeling her hunger intensify. The four sat down at the table and began to dig in. They chatted and laughed as they ate, enjoying each other's company. While chattering she explained how Satya panicked and fainted in the dhaba the other day. Everyone bursted out laughing while Satya's cheerful face fell. Sai noticed the change and quickly diverted the topic.
After a wholesome meal, Vinu and Savi fell asleep and Satya left the place, while leaving Sai accompanied him to his bike and thanked him, telling him how she peacefully slept after a long time. she thanked him for making the kids feel safe.
Satya smiled warmly at Sai's words and replied, "My pleasure, Dr.Joshi. Mere wajah se dono khush toh hain."
Sai nodded and said, "dono nahi, teeno. Aur, aap sach me bohot accha khana banate hain" she appreciated
Satya nodded and bowed, "Thank you, Sai."
Sai smiled gratefully and said, "Thank you, Satya." but she was also able to see through his sadness, there was something that bothered him, she instantly regretted bringing up dhaba incident.
Satya then got on his bike and said, "Mujhe chalna chahiye. Take care, Dr. Joshi. And if you ever need any help, don't hesitate to call me."
Sai nodded and said, "hanji, Good night, aur Dr. Joshi nahi, sirf Sai"
"Good night, Sai," Satya replied, and rode off into the night.

Virat walked back and forth in his room waiting for Pakhi to come. She entered the room with a glass of juice for him.
"Pakhi, mujhe tumse kuch kehni hai"
"Bolo Virat"
"Pakhi, mujhe nahi lagta ki ab hum dono saath mein reh sakte hain, I'm sorry lekin, mujhse ab yeh sab nahi ho raha, thak chuka hoon main, Pakhi" he took a deep breath.
Pakhi's face fell as she heard Virat's words. She had been hoping that their marriage could work, but it seemed like Virat had made up his mind. "Virat, main jaanti thi, jaanti thi ki tumhare aur Sai ke beech kya rishta hai, jo Sai Joshi chahthi thi, usne woh karli, main yeh baat kab se jaanti thi. Uska toh chodo, tumne ek baar bhi mere baare mein nahi socha Virat?"
Virat looked at Pakhi and sighed, "Pakhi, Main tumhe hurt nahi karna chahta tha, lekin sach yeh hai ki main sirf Sai se pyaar karta hoon. Main jaanta hoon yeh tumhare liye bahut bura hoga, lekin main jhoota hone se achha yeh hai ki main sach boloon. Hum dono is rishte mein rehke khudh galti kar rahe hain, iss rishte mein door door tak mujhe na khushi nazar aa rahi hai , na pyaar"
Pakhi nodded and looked at Virat, "Main samajh gayi, Virat. Sab samajh gayi, ab maintumhe ek waaris nahi de sakti, isliye tum yeh sab keh rahe ho na?"
Virat sighed and nodded a no. "Toh un waqt ka kya Virat jab tum sachme mujhse pyaar karte the? Woh Virat jisne mujhe waada kiya tha ki woh mere alawa kisi aur se pyaar nahi karega?"
Virat looked at her and said, "Galati thi woh, agar hum kuch ban sakte hain to woh sirf acche dost, Pakhi. Main chaahta hoon ki hum dono ki zindagi mein koi dard na ho. Tum mere liye bahut special ho, aur hamesha rahogi."
Pakhi managed a small smile and said, "Chahe tum kuch bhi kaho, main Sai se haar nahi maanungi, main tumhe iss rishte se bahaar jaane nahi doongi"

Amba sat on the porch, watching her son Satya stare at the sky with a melancholic expression. She knew what day it was; it was Girija's fourth death anniversary, the love of Satya's life. Amba's heart ached for her son as she watched him struggle with the pain of losing his beloved Girija.
Amba's mind wandered back to the days when Satya was just a little boy, playing in the dirt with Madhuri. She remembered the fierce determination she had when she found out about her husband's infidelity. She refused to live with a man who had no respect for her or their family. She gathered her courage, packed her bags, and left the house.
With a heavy heart, Amba started her journey to find a new home for herself and her unborn child. On her journey, she met two other women who were Lavani dancers. They took Amba under their wing and taught her the art of dance. Together, they created a home for themselves, and Amba was able to raise Satya in a righteous way.
As Satya grew up, Amba saw him develop into a handsome, courageous, and funny young man. She watched as he fell in love with Girija, a kind and beautiful woman who reciprocated his feelings. But their happiness was short-lived, as Girija's parents went against their marriage. Satya was devastated, and Girija ended up taking her own life.
Four years had passed since that fateful day, and Amba's heart still ached for her son. She knew the pain he felt was deep and unrelenting. Satya knew that he had to continue his mother's legacy and be the righteous person that she had raised him to be. He knew that he had to fight against societal norms and make sure that no one else had to go through what he and his family had gone through. Satya continued to work towards making the world a better place, and he knew that his mother would always be proud of him.
Despite the tragedy that had befallen him, Satya never lost sight of what was important. He continued to work tirelessly as a doctor, always putting his patients first. He also dedicated himself to helping others who were going through similar struggles as he had. Satya knew all too well how difficult it was to be judged and discriminated against because of circumstances beyond one's control.
In his free time, Satya would volunteer at local organizations that supported women's rights and advocated for gender equality. Satya's unwavering commitment to doing what was right earned him the respect and admiration of many. Even with many to support him, he remained lonely deep inside.
Amba walked up to Satya, put her arm around him, and whispered, "Upar se dekh rahi hai tumhe" Satya leaned his head on his mother's shoulder and let out a deep sigh. "chaar saal ho gaye, Aai," he said, his voice heavy with emotion.
"jaanti hoon baada," Amba replied, her own voice filled with sadness as she remembered the tragic loss of Girija, Satya's beloved. "Par kya woh chahegi ki tu aise hi dukhi rahe? Woh toh bas yahi chahti hogi ki woh ho ya na ho, tum hamesha khush raho"
Satya raised his head and looked at his mother with tear-filled eyes. "Kaise, Aai? uske bina kaise, jaan hai woh meri, meri eklauti pyaar, usse bhulakar kaise?"
Amba wrapped her arms around her son and held him close, feeling his pain and heartache. "Main samajhti hun, Satya. Mai samajhti hun. Lekin tum is baat ko apne andar samapt na hone do. Girija ki yaad ko mannat dena hai tumhe apni zindagi ko aise jeete hue ki tum khud apne aap se pyaar karne lago. Aur koun jane, shayad ek din tumhe koi aisa mile jo tumse Girija se bhi jyada pyaar kare."
Satya pulled away slightly and looked up at his mother, she was a mother after all, she wanted to build a family, and she didn't want him to be a loner. He just silently nodded just to see his aai smile.
As he continued to stare at the moon, he closed his eyes and whispered to himself, "I love you Girija" A tear rolled down his cheek, but he quickly wiped it away and spent some time with his mom in silence. Sometimes their silence spoke so much more than the words.
--------------------------------------
Satya and Sai had been working together for over a month now and their initial animosity towards each other had faded away. They had formed a strong bond of friendship and could often be seen laughing and chatting during their breaks. The other nurses were surprised by their newfound camaraderie and would often remark about how they couldn't believe that Satya and Sai, who were once at each other's throats, were now the nicest to each other.
Even Sheetal would often join in their conversations during their lunch break. It was refreshing to see the two of them getting along so well and it made their work environment a lot more pleasant. Sometimes they funnily flirted with each other. Satya had also visited Sai and the kids more frequently, the four had become really close.
Sai had figured out that Satya had a past and waited patiently for him to open up, there were times Satya would just zone out, he would lock himself and start crying when he saw suicide cases. Sai stayed by him, she would just stay with him, they had zero conversations about his breakdowns, but when he broke, she stood by him, and helped him with food and tissues. Her silence made Satya comfortable. He finally had a friend that didn't judge him, but just stood by him in his worst without any questions asked.
-------------------------------------------------
Virat was finding it hard to concentrate on his work as his thoughts kept drifting toward Sai and his children. Even though he visited them once a week, he still felt guilty for not being there for them. He knew that he had to be strong and keep his emotions in check, but it was easier said than done.
Despite his best efforts, Virat had not been able to convince Pakhi to divorce him. It was frustrating and made him feel trapped. He was losing his grip on everything.
Meanwhile, he noticed a positive change in Sai and the kids' behavior. They seemed to be getting along well, and Sai appeared to be doing a great job of taking care of them. It was disheartening to see, and Virat felt his ego stabbed as he always believed the kids wouldn't live without him. He also couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy towards Satya, who had become closer to the three. Virat had always been envious of Satya's easy-going nature and his ability to make friends easily. He wondered if he had made a mistake by not giving Sai a chance earlier.
He couldn't keep living in limbo, waiting for Pakhi to make a decision. He had to make a decision himself and take charge of his future. Virat was in a state of distress. He had tried to convince her to divorce him, but she refused to do so. His ego was bruised, and he felt like a failure. Adding to his agony was the fact that his kids spoke about Satya all the time, making him feel like he was not a good enough father.
Despite all of this, Virat couldn't help but believe that Sai still loved him. He knew he had made a mistake by not trusting her, but he was convinced that he could make it up to her. He thought about convincing Sai to get married to him, believing that it would solve all their problems.
However, deep down, Virat knew that it was not that simple. He had hurt Sai deeply, and he was not sure if she would ever forgive him. He also knew that his kids' happiness was his top priority and that they'd want their parents to live together. He was sure that marrying Sai would be the best thing for them.
