Yes, I agree that Murtasim would never divorce Meerab. It was a hypothetical question.
I do agree as well that how she responds to it would depend on how the question is brought up. If it’s brought up in anger- as a punishment- she will be hurt and proven right that he abandons her- then she will pack her bags and leave with her head held high. It’s her ana, after all
But if the question is crafted in terms of concern- I don’t think you are happy or I am making you happy, so I am setting you free- then it might trigger her real feelings and a realisation that she can’t be without him
Come to think of it , it would be a delight to see dim wit Meerab cut a sorry figure again when she will find out that the boy she supported is actually Zubair Malik 🤪. Wow !! Even though meerab does not know who is malik jubair she has never seen him. But I do agree meerab should have investigated about anas who is he where is he from rather then jump to the private engagement.
