idont think Salman was just observing her silently and didn’t know how to react, He actually was angry and hurt and reacted the way he knows..which is sulk and be grumpy and ignore her. Alia is hurt by his indifference. She is herself on one hand clear as to why she took this job and just like her father she thinks she can have it all…..money with a sense of principles.
In fact for me, that scene where Agha saab is staring at his daughter, it seems like he feels he has pressured her too much. But on the other hand, we as an audience are getting a glimpse of how similar they are. They are both similar in that they don’t want to compromise…in fact their righteous indignation seems to make them believe they don’t need to.
Since he don't have an assurance from aaliya's side his insecurities are getting bigger. I am pretty sure if he saw those motte motte aasu on her motti motti aankhe he would have melted like an ice cream but he was busy hiding under that blanket which by the way looks good. 😆. i think salman knows things about asfar or has some sort of prejudice against him and that's why he don't want Aaliya to work with him. It's not jealousy that Aaliya is gonna work for a young guy. She has been working for 2-3 yrs now and she has been interacting with guys all the time. Even with sherish the chances of some guy liking aaliya is as much as asfar liking aaliya.
I guess seeing Aaliya making so many compromises will make aagaji finally let go of his ego and stubbornness for the house.

I remember that scene but i think it was more like guys irritating the girl they like to get her attention than him being bothered about her being better than him at work. Salman did win against Aaliya with sherish fair and square whereas Aaliya ungli tedi karke salman se badla leti hai.😆

Aaliya in general don't deck up much. Even in samiya's marriage she was the least decked up one. But she put effort for that grumpy who missed a golden opportunity due to his tantrums 😆. He has no idea how luck he is gonna be in future. He will have a doll of a wife😆
Sallu is too cute to make us or Aaliya angry with his tantrums. 😆
It was entertaining to see him sulking and grumping.
Aaliya and Salman might have had relatively less screentime for leads but every single one of their scenes are well written, well directed and well acted. Whether it's their fight or friendly talk or unoffical relationship all the dialogues are so well written. 👍🏼
