Look at the expression Wahaj is giving here, we can see how much he craves for her. These kind of scenes have been shown too many times in shows but it is the actors who elevates it. Also, Murtasim has got so many cheesy lines but Wahaj has made it better , same goes for Yumna and that's why for me these two are the main reason why the show os working.

And I don't think the show would have been such a massive hit without Yumna and Wahaj's names attached to it

Would it have worked without them? Yes, maybe. But to this massive level? No
