A lot has been said about Gavaskar's straight drive and rightly too, he has probably one of the best straight drives in cricket but he had really good on drive and off drives too. For a flat footed guy for he was pretty quick between the wickets. If you have any more sunny's batting videos post them.

In that video clip there is Azhar on runners end. Leaving aside what he did in the following years, he was a great wristy player and king of the art and timing. One of the most stylish batsman. In one of the India vs Australia series while Kapil dev was using all the power and might to hit the boundary but was getting only a single due to heavy grass on outfield as always in Australia , on the other hand his partner Azhar used just right timing and optimum power and ball was crossing the boundary line effortlessly.
