He is trapped. Unless everyone feels he cannot be dad AND mausa at the same time, he will be honor bound to keep his promises to Roohi. And Akshara is already bound by her marriage to Nav and her gratitude. Even if there are objections to him being mausa to his son it will last only for one episode after that they will convince each other that the marriage should happen for Roohi.

Something pivotal needs to happen after the reveal if Abhira are endgame.

Aarohi and Nav backing off would be the decent thing to do but no drama there.
Roohi giving up her zidd so Abhir gets his bio dad would be sweet, child like and pure.

Abhira turning rogue and rebel running away and getting remarried would be KarbirSingh-ish.
