They are batting. Only 11 people are allowed to bat.

The impact player might have replaced a player who was in the initial 11 who did not come to bat yet.

That person can never take the field when LSG comes back to bowl. That is how it works.

Edited to add: Or he must have replaced a batter who already batted. If that is the case, then that batter can't come to field when LSG comes to bowl.

They replaced a batter basically...they are replacements technically...but couldn't find anywhere with whether the replaced players would come as part of fielding 11 or keep out

Gowtham is bowling so I'm guessing whoever came as replacement has to come out as part of fielding 11 like you say🤔
