The last time I saw people hyping Ranbir was because of Alia and then his fatherhood. People hardly have interest left in his movie career and tbh he looks really old and exhausted at 40 when compared to other actors of same age or even older ones.

Also I don’t know how much TJMM earned but this film literally had no hype around, amongst my mutuals only 2 people kept talking about it that too.

Anyone at Ranbir’s place in both Sanju and Brahmrastra would’ve delivered, it’s like saying anyone delivers with a Rajamouli, same here with Hirani.

Also he’s no superstar, a superstar has the streets like Khans, Akki, Hrithik, even if they deliver flops, Hrithik is the last true superstar from Bollywood.

Imagine using 'post pandemic' type phrases to credit some 'firsts' to Ranbir though he has NO firsts to his credit in his career.

Stretching limits to make him look like some pioneer he never was.

Never seen PR of South actors either go bonkers to this extent despite their hits like KGF, Pushpa, RRR, Kantara 'post pandemic'.

Those senior stars gave ATBBs in either debut or first decade of career or highest grossing films of year in debut or first decade of career without any media hype or pushy dynasty or selling personal life for PR.

Shut it and stop playing victim giving duhaai of seniority.

Despite OTT, we have films like KGF, RRR, Pushpa break records on basis of sheer star power of actors. These are not even some heavyweight scripts.

Ranbir NEVER had charisma or larger than life personality to rise above scripts or pull off sheer entertainers or larger than life films.

Ranbir is also INSECURE and cannot do multi starrers. This is why he refused 3 Idiots. He just wants to be center of stage himself and gets ample scope for it in those heartbroken manchild coming of age films.

Nowadays cashes on relation with Alia who is bigger star and gives more hits than him.

Rishi Kapoor was Big star and Ranbir can't reach even half of his achievement. The guy had more than 25 Hits in his career as well as nearly 15 - 200 cr Adj net films were The Flop Ranbir still has 3.

Ranbir is also an insecure actor and cannot do multi starrers or hold his own ground in multi starrers the way Rishi held his ground in Amar Akbar Anthony or Chandni.

He wants all spotlight for himself and does not do films where heroine has meaty role, unlike his dad Rishi who did Nagina despite knowing Sridevi had a more powerful role in it.

Insecure Ranbir declined 3 Idiots and was wary of doing multi starrer.

Rishi gave hit like Bobby from debut itself and was not a flop show like Ranbir nor relied on merely affair or jodi with Neetu to sell his wares. He was more natural and versatile, less laboured actor and not an overgrown manchild with sinus issues in all films.

Barfi is talked of only online. Nobody gives a damn about Barfi in real life nor it gets TRPs for TV.

Ranbir fans only talk of faltu artsy films to save his ass.

Ranbir never had any mass appeal. Never will. Too late for it now.

Kartik is atleast not a manchild and is capable of doing more than just roles singing songs at wedding of ex.
